摘要: Provided is a method of operating a tunnel point that provides a tunnel between a router group including at least one router and a mobile node. The method includes: providing a tunnel between the mobile node and the router group by authenticating the mobile node; receiving a packet including an identifier (ID) of a target node from the mobile node; converting the ID of the target node in the packet into a locator corresponding to the ID of the target node; transmitting a packet including the converted locator to the router group; and maintaining the ID of the mobile node by authenticating the mobile node through the router group when the mobile node is connected to another external terminal node.

摘要: A method of supporting flow mobility of an MN is provided in an LMA. The LMA updates a BCE when a flow of the MN moves from a first MAG to a second MAG. The LMA sends a message for requesting binding registration of the flow to the second MAG, and sends a message for requesting binding de-registration of the flow to the first MAG.

摘要: Provided is a mobile IPv6 fast handovers method, which includes the steps of: a) if a mobile node is moved in a layer 2, receiving a modified RS message from a mobile node in the access router, b) detecting movement of the mobile node in a layer 3 in the access router, c) if the mobile node makes a movement in the layer 3, generating CoA of the mobile node in the access router; d) performing Duplicate Address Detection in the access router to inspect uniqueness of the generated CoA; and e) transmitting a modified RA message to the mobile node in the access router. The Fast Handovers method of the present research performs fast movement detection by using layer 2 information simply and efficiently for fast handover in the mobile IPv6 and generates CoA in the access router instead of the mobile node without operations of many additional messages.

摘要: In a network environment in which an endpoint identifier and a routing locator are separated from each other, a first router receives a data packet including an endpoint identifier of a first host and an endpoint identifier of a second host that is a communication target of the first host from the first host managed by the first router in order to convert a network address. A message requesting external address prefix information of the second host is transmitted to a second router managing the second host. In addition, the external address prefix information is received from the second router and a routing locator of the second host is generated by converting internal address prefix information of an endpoint identifier of the second host into the external address prefix information of the second host in the data packet.

摘要: A method and system for supporting a seamless handover of a mobile node using a mobile Stream Control Transmission Protocol (mSCTP) to support the mobility of the mobile node are provided. In the method and system, a change in data link layer information, which occurs when the mobile node moves into a new sub-network, is detected and changed data link layer information is transmitted to a network layer. A new Internet protocol (IP) address for the new sub-network is acquired in the network layer using the changed data link layer information. The new IP address is transmitted to a transport layer and dynamic address setting is performed in the transport layer using the mSCTP.
