    摘要: A system for detecting a direction of a source of a laser beam includes a pixelated sensor that is sensitive to the laser beam. A mask is disposed between the source of a laser beam and the pixelated sensor. The mask includes an opaque portion that is opaque to the laser beam and a window portion that is at least translucent to the laser beam. When the laser impinges upon the mask an image of the window portion is projected onto the pixelated sensor. A processor determines an angle of incidence of the laser beam with respect to the mask by determining a number of pixels that the image of the window is offset from where the image of the window would be if the laser beam had been normal to the mask.

Each link is coupled to a different one of the plurality of different avionics devices and adapted to communicate therewith according to a communications protocol associated with the one of the plurality of different avionics devices to which it is coupled. A front panel includes a display device and a plurality of user input components. A processor that is coupled to each of the plurality of communications links, the processor configured to display data from each of the different avionics devices on the display device so that the data from each of the different avionics devices is shown in a different graphical user interface on the display device and so that each graphical user interface conforms to a common display format, the processor further configured to receive user input for a selected one of the avionics devices through at least one of the plurality of user input components and to transmit the user input to the selected one of the avionics devices through one of the plurality of communication links that is coupled to the selected one of the avionics devices.

A pilot interface includes a first visual indicator having a first recognizable characteristic disposed in a first position that is made visually perceptible when a first signal is asserted and a second visual indicator having a second recognizable characteristic esthetically different from the first recognizable characteristic and disposed in a second position different from the first position that is made visually perceptible when a second signal is asserted. A control circuit that is responsive to the cabin pressure input and the aircraft pressure input determines an acceptable range for the cabin altitude that corresponds to the aircraft altitude. The control circuit asserts the first signal when the cabin altitude is within the acceptable range and asserts the second signal when the cabin altitude is not within the acceptable range.

    摘要: An aircraft imaging apparatus includes a thermal imaging camera, a control circuit, an image generating circuit and a display. The thermal imaging camera includes an array of pixels and that senses thermal radiation within the scene. The a control circuit is programmed to: detect an area of high thermal energy within the image; define a region of interest having a predetermined number of pixels within the area of high thermal energy; determine an average temperature sensed by the predetermined number of pixels; and adjust each of the plurality of adjustable parameters to optimal settings corresponding to the average temperature. The image generating circuit is operationally coupled to the thermal imaging camera and generates image data corresponding to a portion of the scene so that the image data is based on the optimal settings for the plurality of adjustable parameters. The display displays the image data.
