摘要: Estimated positions of a computing device and whether the computing device is inside a building are determined. Atmospheric pressure measurements are collected when inside the buildings using a barometric pressure sensor of the computing device. Heights of the buildings are determined. Calibration values based on the heights of the buildings and the atmospheric pressure measurements are determined. A combined calibration value is determined based on the plurality of calibration values. The combined calibration value corresponds to a numerical overlap region of the plurality of calibration values.

摘要: A cockpit pressurization and oxygen warning system includes a cabin pressure input and an aircraft pressure input. A pilot interface includes a first visual indicator having a first recognizable characteristic disposed in a first position that is made visually perceptible when a first signal is asserted and a second visual indicator having a second recognizable characteristic esthetically different from the first recognizable characteristic and disposed in a second position different from the first position that is made visually perceptible when a second signal is asserted. A control circuit that is responsive to the cabin pressure input and the aircraft pressure input determines an acceptable range for the cabin altitude that corresponds to the aircraft altitude. The control circuit asserts the first signal when the cabin altitude is within the acceptable range and asserts the second signal when the cabin altitude is not within the acceptable range.

摘要: Extending the spatial coverage of a reference pressure network. Particular embodiments described herein include machines that initially determine that an estimated position of a mobile device resides outside a coverage area of a network of reference pressure sensors. Reference-level pressures corresponding to reference pressure sensors of the network are determined using measurements of pressure from the network of reference pressure sensors. A pressure pattern for a region that includes the estimated position and an area not included in the coverage area of the network is determined using reference-level pressures that were not determined using measurements of pressure from the network of reference pressure sensors. The reference-level pressures corresponding to reference pressure sensors of the network and the pressure pattern are used to determine a reference-level pressure value for use in calibrating a pressure sensor of the mobile device or for use in estimating an altitude of the mobile device.

摘要: A terminal device comprising circuitry configured to detect a value of a parameter which is variable in response to a variation in vertical position of the terminal device; receive, from infrastructure equipment of the wireless telecommunications network, a reference value of the parameter, a reference value of a vertical position at which the reference value of the parameter is associated, and a valid duration information of the reference value of the parameter, the reference value of the parameter being defined relative to a first reference vertical position; and determine a value of the vertical position of the terminal device defined relative to the first reference vertical position.

摘要: The invention relates to a medical device comprising: —a sealed casing (1), suited to being implanted in the body of a human or animal patient, —an inflatable element (3), —a fluidic circuit comprising a fluid reservoir (5) having a variable fluid volume and arranged inside the casing with a tube (2) between the reservoir and the inflatable element, —an actuator arranged inside the casing to selectively vary the volume of fluid in the reservoir, —a control unit (100) configured to control the actuator, —at least one sensor suited to measuring an absolute gauge pressure of the fluid in the fluidic circuit, a force exerted on the reservoir, a gas pressure inside the casing, an atmospheric pressure or a value relating to an altitude of the patient, the control unit (100) being configured so as: —on the basis of a measurement from said sensor while the actuator is inactive, to detect a differential between a value relating to an altitude of the patient and a reference value, and—as a function of said differential, to determine the command to be issued to the actuator so as to control the pressure of fluid in the fluidic circuit.

摘要: Calibrating a pressure sensor of a mobile device includes determining a first plurality of calibration values for a first plurality of visits to a first revisit zone to which a mobile device repeatedly returns; determining a first relative calibration adjustment value based on the first plurality of calibration values; determining an adjusted absolute calibration value based on i) an absolute calibration value used to calibrate pressure measurements made by a pressure sensor of the mobile device, and ii) the first relative calibration adjustment value; and calibrating pressure measurements made by the pressure sensor of the mobile device using the adjusted absolute calibration value.

摘要: A system and method for tracking marine equipment is provided. Generally, the system and method of the present disclosure are designed to generate indicia corresponding to the inventory level of marine equipment used for a particular marine activity. To facilitate the assignment of indicia reflecting the inventory level of marine equipment used for a marine activity, the system and method of the present disclosure uses a plurality of equipment profiles having a defined lower limit and quantity associated with each piece of marine equipment. The lower limit may be manually input or automatically generated. The quantity may be tracked by the system using equipment transmitters and equipment sensors. In a preferred embodiment, the indicia indicate whether the quantity of a piece of marine equipment has fallen below a certain specified level as defined by the user. Users may purchase new marine equipment from third-party retailers via the user interface.
