摘要: A trolley for medical equipment includes a base mounted on a plurality of wheels. A brake device including at least one deformable brake pad is located beneath the trolley base. A release mechanism is provided to move the brake pad between a raised position in which it is spaced above a floor surface on which the trolley wheels rest, and a lowered position in which the brake pad is pressed against the floor surface under the weight of the brake device to a exert a braking force on the trolley.

The perimeter wall is substantially rigid in the height dimension. A flexible base and a flexible cover are attached to the wall. The wall is compressible to a reduced diameter configuration for storage and expandable to an increased diameter configuration for use. The wall may comprise a series of adjacent panels foldable concertina-style to reduce the diameter.

摘要: A pump monitoring system includes a pump with a pump body and a releasable head. An RFID transponder is secured to the pump head and an RFID reader in communication with a processor is provided in the pump body. The transponder receives and stores information relating to operation of the pump head. The reader reads information from the transponder and transmits further information to the transponder. The processor interprets the information from the transponder and controls operation of the pump in response.

摘要: A cap for a container comprises an annular collar with a longitudinal axis and a diameter perpendicular thereto. A seal includes two seal elements which cooperate to form a generally cylindrical seal member locatable in the collar with the seal elements in contact with each other in a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis. At least one of the seal elements has at least one opening therethrough. The openings are configured to receive the tubes of a medical tube set and the cap can be constructed with different combinations of seal members to provide a different number of openings into the container.

摘要: A connector for connecting a medical tube set to a medical container, includes a collar connectable to a container, a cap having at least one opening for receiving a tube of a tube set, and an annular seal. The cap is located in the collar between an inner surface of the collar and the seat. The cap is rotatable relative to the collar. The collar includes a generally cylindrical side wall open at its upper and lower ends and an annular flange projects inwardly from the side wall at the upper end. The cap has a disc defining at least one opening and having an outer annular rim which locates between a lower surface of the annular flange on the collar and the seal.
