摘要: A die for an underwater cutting type pelletizer, the die including a die orifice part in which a thermoplastic resin is inhibited from solidifying within the die orifices. The die can have a reduced difference in temperature between the die orifice part and an inner periphery-side fixing part for fixing the die orifice part to a mixer/extruder, and can thereby inhibit the generation of thermal stress. The die is characterized by being equipped with a heating jacket for heating the inner periphery-side fixing part, the heating jacket being disposed within the inner periphery-side fixing part along an inner annular passage formed within either the die orifice part or the inner periphery-side fixing part or both along the boundary between the die orifice part and the inner periphery-side fixing part.

摘要: In a resin granulating apparatus of the present invention, a bracket extending in the outward radial direction over an outer peripheral surface of a sleeve is provided for the sleeve for rotatably supporting a cutter shaft of a cutter for shearing a material extruded from a die. Stopper means cooperating with the bracket to regulate movement of the sleeve toward the die and moving a regulation position in the axial direction is provided on the radially outer side over an outer diameter of the sleeve. With such a configuration, installation space is compactified so as to additionally provide the stopper means in the existing facilities, and a position of the cutter relative to a die surface is precisely adjusted so as to stably produce a pellet of a best shape.

摘要: To provide a gear pump for carrying high viscous liquid, which keeps a bearing in a free state and enhances reliability relative to a leakage of cooling medium and a leakage of molten resins. The gear pump in which a pair of gear rotors 2 are supported on a body 1 of the gear pump through a bearing 6, a cover for preventing the bearing 6 from being slipped out is secured to the body 1, and a temperature adjusting medium passage 20 is formed in the bearing 6, wherein an inlet pipe 28 and an outlet pipe 29 to the temperature adjusting medium passage 20 are connected to the axial outer end of the bearing 6, an intermediate plate 10 is interposed between the axial outer end of the bearing 6 and the cover 11, the intermediate plate 10 being provided with an insert hole 31 for the inlet pipe 28 and the outlet pipe 29, the cover 11 being provided with a guide portion 32 having the inlet pipe 28 and the outlet pipe 29 loosely fitted therein to guide them to outside. Further, at least a part of the inlet pipe 28 and the outlet pipe 29 is formed from a flexible member.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a screen unit which allows for eliminating rigorous dimension control for preventing the short path phenomenon of material and which has cost advantages, and a screen changer equipped with the same.In the screen unit, a cartridge body (30) includes a hole-formed portion (15) having a plurality of through holes (12) through which the material filtered by a screen pack (14) is allowed to pass; and a contacted outer surface (21) which is provided closer to a base end side than to the hole-formed portion (15) and inclined so as to expand radially outwardly with decreasing distance to the base end. The screen pack (14) has a contacting inner surface (22) which can closely contact with the contacted outer surface (21) of a cartridge (13) when being pressed from a tip end side toward the base end with the hole-formed portion (15) covered from outside.

摘要: A cutter machine has a knife holder 13 mounted onto a cutter shaft 6 at the center portion, wherein a material to be cut is cut with knives 15 mounted onto the outer circumference of the knife holder 13 by rotating the knife holder 13 around the cutter shaft 6. The knife holder 13 is separated into a fixing member 17 mounted onto the cutter shaft 6 and a mounting member 18 onto which the knives 15 are mounted. The mounting member 18 is pivotally supported around two axes with respect to the fixing member 17. In the cutter machine, the knives and a die plate come into contact with each other by a small press force of the knives, thereby enabling a satisfactory cutting to be obtained.

摘要: Provided is a knife holder (10) for use with an underwater cutting pelletizing device which includes a die plate (40) and the knife holder (10). The die plate (40) includes an annular projected portion (52) and a plurality of die holes (51) having an opening on the projected portion (52). The knife holder (10) holds a plurality of knives (30) which slide on the surface of the projected portion (52) to thereby cut melt resin, which has been pushed through each of the die holes (51), into resin pellets in cooling water. The knife holder (10) can reduce the deflection of the knife (30) and thereby the gap that appears between the sliding plane thereof and the die plate projected portion (52). The knife holder (10) includes a knife holder body (11) and a plurality of rib portions (12). The knife holder body (11) has an outer circumference end (11a) which is located inside the inner circumference end of the projected portion (52) of the die plate (40) in the radial direction. The rib portions (12) are provided at respective multiple positions that are arranged in the circumferential direction of the outer circumference end (11a); are projected radially outwardly from the outer circumference end (11a) to extend outwardly past the inner circumference end of the projected portion (52); and have a front face located above the die plate and have the knife (30) secured thereto with the back face of the knife (30) facing the front face.

摘要: The bearing cooling device causes cooling media to flow into the interior of a journal bearing 8 for supporting a shaft part 7 by lubrication of high viscous fluid and the interior of the shaft part 7 to cool the shaft part 7 and the bearing 8. At this time, cooling medium temperature of the bearing 8 is set to be higher than cooling medium temperature of the shaft part 7. It is constituted so that the cooling medium passes the cooling medium passage and thereafter passes the cooling medium passage internally of the bearing. A heated medium supply device for supplying a heated medium to each cooling medium passage may be provided. The bearing cooling device is used suitably for a gear pump.

摘要: An underwater cutting pelletizer is disclosed wherein a water chamber is circular in plan, an inlet portion is formed on one side in a diametrical direction of the water chamber to introduce cooling water into the water chamber, and an outlet portion is formed on the other side in the diametrical direction of the water chamber to discharge the cooling water from the interior of the water chamber to the exterior, the inlet portion being in a divergent shape in an inflow direction of cooling water. The retention time of pellets in the interior of the water chamber can be made as short as possible.
