    摘要: A method of manufacturing a reciprocating saw blade includes forming a body with a shank end configured to secure the blade with a reciprocating saw, a plunging end configured to enter a workpiece, and a cutting edge and opposite back edge extending between the shank end and the plunging end. The cutting edge is formed to include a plurality of teeth arranged in a repeating pattern that includes left set teeth and right set teeth, the plurality of additional teeth being substantially the same size as each other and as the third tooth, wherein the plurality of additional gullets are substantially the same size as each other, and wherein the enlarged first gullet is longer in an axial direction than each of the plurality of additional gullets.

The second plurality of slots are generally equally spaced from the center of the circular metal disc by a second distance greater than the first distance. The saw blade design provides a blade with no modal frequencies in the operating frequency range.

    摘要: An apparatus for cutting a sheet stack is provided. The sheet stack is composed of a plurality of sheets. The apparatus includes a cutting blade having a plate form and having a cutting edge at one side extending along a cutting width direction. The cutting blade has at the one side: a plurality of projecting blade portions having ridge lines forming edge lines capable of thrusting and sawing cutting, the projecting blade portions projecting in a cutting direction; and a straight bottom portion between adjacent projecting blade portions. Cutting of the sheet stack is performed by applying a load to the cutting blade in the cutting direction, and by reciprocating the cutting blade along the cutting width direction.

    摘要: A saw blade for use with a reciprocating saw includes a body and an attachment portion extending from the body. The attachment portion includes a tang and an aperture configured to connect to the reciprocating saw. The saw blade also includes a cutting portion formed on the body. The cutting portion includes a plurality of cutting teeth and a floor guard tooth positioned adjacent at least one of the plurality of cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth has a tip that defines a plane. The floor guard tooth extends from the body beyond the plane. The attachment portion is offset from the plane to reduce interference of the reciprocating saw with a surface while performing a footer cut with the saw blade. The floor guard tooth contacts the surface while performing the footer cut to inhibit the plurality of cutting teeth from contacting the surface.
