摘要: A GPS antenna is provided with a reflective conductor portion. Thereby, an electromagnetic wave radiated from an antenna conductor portion in a predetermined direction can be grounded electrically, and thus radiation of the electromagnetic wave in a direction (arbitrary direction) opposite to the predetermined direction can be enhanced. As a result, the directivity of the electromagnetic wave in the arbitrary direction can be enhanced to improve the positioning accuracy.

摘要: The objective of the present invention is to provide a connection cable that serves as an external antenna for a radio apparatus, and whose antenna performance is not deteriorated in the use state by an adverse affect attributable to the near proximity of a human body.According to the present invention, an antenna device, integrally formed with first connection means, which is to be connected to a radio apparatus, second connection means, which is to be connected to a peripheral device, and a connection cable and an antenna element, which are located in between and which transmit a plurality of signals from the radio apparatus to the peripheral device, includes: first relay means, located at a middle position in the connection cable, for relaying the plurality of signals; the antenna element, located between the second connection means and the first relay means; and a coaxial line, located between the first connection means and the first relay means for transmitting, to the radio apparatus, an antenna reception signal that has been received at the antenna element and has been extracted by the first relay means, wherein the antenna element serves as an external antenna for the radio apparatus.

摘要: A polarization switching antenna device capable of switching a polarization without increase of an antenna installing space and also handling a variety of frequency bands is provided. A connection state of one end of a loop antenna element arranged on a side surface of a case is switched. Thus, the polarization characteristic is switched by switching selectively whether the antenna element should constitute a loop antenna or a linear antenna. Matching circuits suitable for respective characteristics are provided. The loop antenna can be fed in terms of a balanced feeding. A balanced feeding and an unbalanced feeding can be switched.

摘要: An information processing system includes a first information processing apparatus, an external storage, and a second information processing apparatus. The first information processing apparatus includes first circuitry to execute data transfer from the first information processing apparatus to the external storage, and assign a completion flag to data for which execution of the data transfer has been completed. 摘要: A portable wireless device is capable of maintaining performance of an antenna without being affected by the state of the housing fitted with the antenna even if the housing is rotated around a rotation axis thereof by a predetermined angle. A portable wireless device 10 comprises an upper casing 21 provided with a balanced antenna 43 and a facing section 22a to be faced with the upper casing 21. The portable wireless device has two states including a first facing state in which the housing is in face to face relationship with the facing section and a second facing state in which the housing rotated around a rotation axis thereof by a predetermined angle is in face to face relationship with the facing section. The balanced antenna 43 has a shape symmetrical about a rotation axis 23b that is a rotation axis of the upper casing.
