摘要： Disclosed is a shaped resin article comprising (1) a continuous phase of a polyphenylene ether and (2) a dispersed phase dispersed in the continuous phase (1). The dispersed phase comprises (a) a particulate dispersed polyolefin phase which is comprised of a polyolefin and has a minor diameter of not greater than 0.5 .mu.m, the outer surface of the dispersed polyolefin phase (a) having, cohered thereto, particles of at least one copolymer selected from the group consisting of a copolymer of a vinyl aromatic compound and a conjugated diene compound and a hydrogenation product thereof, and (b) a particulate dispersed copolymer phase having a minor diameter of not greater than 0.3 .mu.m, which is comprised of at least one copolymer selected from the above-mentioned group and is dispersed in the continuous phase (1) and not cohered to the dispersed polyolefin phase (a). The shaped resin article has not only remarkably improved weld-line toughness and delamination resistance but also excellent resistance to heat, impact and chemicals.

摘要： A thermoplastic elastomer composition having superior compression set performance and moldability, comprising the following components (a) to (d):(a) a styrenic block copolymer having in the same molecule at least two of polymeric block A mainly comprised of vinyl aromatic compounds and at least one of polymeric block B mainly comprised of conjugated diene compounds, and containing vinyl aromatic compounds in an amount of not less than 15% by weight and not more than 60% by weight;(b) a styrenic block copolymer having in the same molecule at least one of each of polymeric block A mainly comprised of vinyl aromatic compounds and polymeric block B mainly comprised of conjugated diene compounds, and containing vinyl aromatic compounds in an amount of not less than 60% by weight and not more than 95% by weight;(c) a polyphenylene ether resin having the reduced viscosity ranging from 0.15 to 0.70 in 0.5 g/dl of a chloroform solution at 30.degree. C.; and(d) a non-aromatic rubber softening oil, and the contents of said components (a), (b), (c) and (d) in the composition satisfying the following formulae (1), (2) and (3) in weight ratio:2.0.gtoreq.b/a.gtoreq.0 (1)1.4.gtoreq.c/(a+b).gtoreq.0.1 (2)3.0.gtoreq.d/(a+b).gtoreq.0.1 (3);and a method for producing the thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising melt kneading the components (a) to (d) described above. The composition is useful in the field of automobile parts, electric wire coatings, footwear, toys, sundry goods, etc.

摘要： A composition having a composition containing substantially no other engineering thermoplastic resin and a compression set (JIS K 6301; 100.degree. C..times.22 hours; and compressibility, 25%) of 65% or less as rubber which comprises:(a) 100 parts by weight of a hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising at least two polymer blocks A composed mainly of a vinyl-substituted aromatic hydrocarbon and at least one polymer block B composed mainly of a conjugated diene,(b) 11 to 233 parts by weight of a homopolymeric and/or copolymeric polyphenylene ether resin comprising a binding unit represented by the general formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which may be the same or different, represent substituents selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, hydrocarbon groups and substituted hydrocarbon groups, and having a reduced viscosity in a range of from 0.15 to 0.70 as measured at 30.degree. C. in a 0.5 g/dl chloroform solution,(c) 10 to 500 parts by weight of a non-aromatic softening agent for rubber, and(d) 5 to 150 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin and/or a polystyrene resin.
