Abstract:
The present invention relates to a saw including a sawhead pivotably connected to a base. The pivotable connection may define a pivot axis therethrough, wherein the pivot axis may be parallel to the horizontal plane. In addition, the sawhead may rotate around the pivot axis and may be axially displaceable along the pivot axis.

The device including a face plate mountable on the positionable switch, a sensor mounted on the face plate, wherein the sensor is configured to detect the position of the positionable switch and electronics mounted on the face plate and operably coupled to the sensor, wherein the electronics are configured to determine the amount of time the positionable switch has been in a given position.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a node that includes an outlet or switch and a first set of contacts. An appliance may be provided including a second set of contacts configured to engage the first set of contacts to provide power and/or communication to the appliance. The disclosure also relates to a method of providing load identification wherein a node capable of monitoring current may be provided, current may be drawn from an AC power distribution network through the node, current may be modulated by a device associated with the node and an identifiable sequence of incremental current pulses may be created. The modulated current may be measured by the node and a serial number identified.

Abstract:
A push pin device comprises a pin having a tip and an outer member coupled to and extending at least partially around the pin. The tip of the pin is located inside of the outer member in a retracted position when the outer member is uncompressed. The tip of the pin is located outside of the outer member in an extended position when the outer member is compressed. In the exemplary embodiment, the pin extends from a first portion of the outer member toward a second portion of the outer member and the first portion contacts the second portion when the outer member is compressed. When the first portion is seated in the second portion, the second portion applies an opposing force against the first portion to facilitate removal.
Abstract:
The combination of a water filter and a display for indication of the water filter condition includes an electrical circuit connected to the display and responsive to use of the water filter. The circuit includes a microcontroller, a timer connected to the microcontroller and providing timing signals thereto, and a switch connected to the microcontroller and responsive to the flow of water from the filter to cause the microcontroller to process the timing signals. The microcontroller is programmed to utilize the timing signals to provide an electrical signal to the display indicative of filter condition.
Abstract:
A water input connection for a faucet includes a body which has a water inlet and a water outlet. There is a chamber within the body and there is a seat adjacent the water inlet. An antisiphon check valve is movable within the body chamber toward and away from the seat to open and close the water inlet connection. There is an antiflow valve movable within the body to open and close the water outlet connection. A spring is positioned within the body and biases both the antiflow valve and the antisiphon valve toward water inlet and water outlet closing positions.
Abstract:
An imaging system includes an imaging member having an imaging surface on which transferable images are formed. Preferably the imaging member is a photoconductive drum. The system further includes a transfer drum having an outer surface adapted to receive and retain an image-receiver sheet having lead and trail edges. A shim member, preferably thinner than the image-receiver sheet, is positioned on the peripheral surface of the transfer drum adjacent the lead and/or trail edges of a retained image-receiver sheet. The shim member acts to reduce system velocity fluctuations which occur as the lead and trail edges of the image-receiver sheet, respectively, enter and leave a nip formed by the transfer drum and the imaging member.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus in which toner images are transferred using a combination of heat and pressure to a receiving sheet includes a transfer drum with a vacuum holding means for the receiving sheet. To prevent a loss of nip pressure over vacuum holes, the drum is formed of a metallic core with a slot running generally parallel to the core's axis of rotation. A thin metallic sheet is positioned around the core, which sheet has very thin slots running across the slot in the core. A vacuum is applied to the core slot which communicates through the sheet slots to hold a receiving sheet to the outside surface of the metallic sheet.
Abstract:
In an electrostatographic printer and/or copier, toner images are transferred from the outer surface of a rotating image process drum to a receiver sheet carried on the outer surface of a rotating transfer drum as the respective drum surfaces pass through a transfer zone defined by a nip between the drums. To assure precise registration of the transferred toner image with a desired portion of the receiver sheet a planetary positional control apparatus is provided for adjusting the angular position of the transfer drum relative to that of the process drum as the transfer drum rotates to present the receiver sheet to the image transfer zone. Such apparatus responds to a control signal representing variations, from nominal, in the position of the toner image on the process drum and/or in the position of the receiver sheet on the transfer drum. The planetary positional control apparatus of the invention is particularly useful in color electrostatographic systems for precisely registering multiple color separation images on a receiver sheet.
