Abstract:
A disposable lid is used with a container has pre-stored additives such as sugar or cream. The base member has at least one compartment region which has a sealed outlet and a cover sealing the compartment region to prevent the additive from exiting the compartment region. When the cover is actuated, the outlet breaks open and allows the additive in the compartment region to flow into the container. The outlet in the base member projects from the base member and preferably has troughs formed in the outlet. The outlet is arranged under the cover, and when the cover is depressed the outlet opens at the troughs to allow the content to exit out of the compartment region. The cover is preferably made of a flexible material to permit the outlet to be depressed by applying pressure on the cover. The compartment region of the base member is formed by raised walls surrounding the compartment region, the cover being affixed to top of the raised wall to create an air tight seal.
Abstract:
A spray nozzle adapter is used with a conventional spray nozzle having a nozzle plug for regulating the flow of fluid in response to a control lever. The spray nozzle adapter has an intake coupler having an axially extending cylindrical wall defining an intake orifice constructed to couple to the spray nozzle, a shaft coupled to the intake coupler and a valve assembly coupled to the nozzle plug and disposed in the fluid passage of the first shaft for controlling the flow of fluid from the spray nozzle in response to movement of the spray nozzle control lever. The valve assembly includes a valve and a lever coupled to the valve. The valve has a plug for controlling the flow of fluid from the outlet orifice. The lever is securely coupled to the nozzle plug of the spray nozzle to relay the movement of the nozzle plug to the valve. The spray nozzle adapter also has a cone-shaped deflector mounted to the intake coupler to substantially surround the shaft. The deflector is used to block the splashing of water and dirt and includes a plurality of rings axially interleaved and connected with elastic materials to allow the plurality of rings to retract thereby exposing the shaft.
Abstract:
A disposable lid has a flexible disk-like body and at least one slot opening formed in the body. The slot opening is adapted to receive a small container containing additives, such as sugar and cream. The slot opening is defined by a plurality of intersecting lines which break open upon application of predetermined pressure. The lid also has at least one protrusion formed near the slot opening to create an opening in the container as the container is inserted into the slot opening. The small additive container described above preferably has an elongated body which is adapted to be inserted into the slot opening of the lid through the intersecting lines. The elongated body is inserted into the slot opening, a release opening is formed in the elongated body of the additive container to release the content. The elongated body of the additive container used for the above lid has a break line which breaks open to release a content contained in the elongated body when a sharp object or a protrusion is pressed against the break line. The protrusion of the lid and the break line of the additive container are aligned so that when the additive container is inserted into the slot opening, the protrusion causes the break line to break open.
Abstract:
A screwdriver of the present invention is designed for use with power tools. The screwdriver provides an automatic disengagement mechanism to prevent excess penetration of the screw into a work surface. The screwdriver has a housing enclosing the motor and a bracing member inserted into the housing, in which the bracing member is shaped to slide inside the housing. A sleeve member adjustably secured to the bracing member so that when the sleeve member is in a fully extended position in relation to the bracing member the spindle containing a driver bit is engaged to the motor through a transmission assembly, such as clutches or ball bearings. Alternatively, if the sleeve member is in a retracted position, then the spindle is disengaged from the motor thus stopping the rotation of the screw even if the motor is still rotating.
Abstract:
A fastener holding device is designed for use with power or hand tools. The device securely engages a fastener, such as a screw, and automatically disengages the fastener when the device is pushed against a work surface. The device includes a driving bit assembly which has a socket on one end for holding a driving bit and has a polygonally shaped portion on the other end for mounting in a power drill. The device further includes a retaining member adapted to be placed on the driving bit assembly and a sleeve member adapted to be placed on the retaining member. The position of the sleeve member in relation to the retaining member allows the fastener to be either engaged or disengaged with respect to the driving bit.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a correction lens system of an exposure apparatus for a cathode-ray tube which comprises a lens formed with a plurality of block cells joined together and which diffuses and irradiates a light emitted from a light source to an inner surface of a panel, characterized in that the lens system is structured to interrupt ultraviolet rays having a wave length of less than 300 nm, and a method for manufacturing a correction lens of an exposure apparatus for a cathode-ray tube, for diffusing and irradiating a light emitted from a light source to an inner surface of a panel, wherein the method comprises the steps of treating a plurality block cells made of glass such that an upper part of each block cell is inclined at a predetermined angle, polishing the block cells, and adhering the block cells to each other to form a correction lens having a certain shape.
Abstract:
A screw feeding apparatus, which is designed for use with power tools, has a casing for holding screws, a platform slidably disposed in the casing for supporting and advancing the screw, a chamber assembly and a clamp assembly. In particular, the chamber assembly has an elongated cylinder for guiding the screw into a work surface. The clamp assembly is situated in the chamber assembly so that each screw from the casing is properly positioned for engaging a screwdriver bit. The screw feeding apparatus also includes a loading sleeve coupled to a rear cylinder mounted on the rear end of the chamber assembly. When the loading sleeve is retracted with respect to the rear cylinder, a screw is loaded into the chamber assembly.

Abstract:
A screwdriver has a shaft with a bit on one end for engaging a bit receptacle formed on a head of a screw and a screw engaging device coupled to and in surrounding relation to the shaft. The screw engaging device defines a cylindrical void configured to receive and place the head of the screw onto the bit. The inner wall of the screw engaging device defining the cylindrical void has at least one tab extending toward the center of the center of the cylindrical void for engaging the head of the screw. Preferably, there are four tabs disposed evenly space on the inner wall of the screw engaging device. The screw engaging device has a first sleeve defining the cylindrical void and oppositely disposed slots. A second sleeve is coupled to the first sleeve to form the cylindrical void for receiving the shaft therethrough. The shaft has oppositely facing receptacles formed on the outer circumference of the shaft. The screwdriver further has a pair of brackets, each bracket being placed in each one of the oppositely positioned slots and disposed in respective receptacle.
