Abstract:
A method that is capable of producing a vinyl chloride-based polymer having excellent thermal stability without sacrificing productivity is provided. The method includes polymerizing a vinyl chloride-based monomer in the presence of a vanadium compound (A) represented by formula: Vi(═O)jZk (wherein i is an integer of 2 to 5, j represents 0 or 1, Z represents a ligand such as is an organic ligand that can bond to the vanadium atom via a hetero atom, and a plurality of ligands Z may be bonded together to form a ring that also includes the vanadium atom as a member of the ring, and k is an integer from 1 to 5), and in the presence of at least one aluminum compound (B).
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to improve the resilience and the durability of the golf ball to be obtained by reducing the content of trans-1,4-bond in a one-piece golf ball using a polybutadiene having a high content of cis-1,4-bond. The one-piece golf ball of the present invention is obtained by molding a rubber composition containing (a) a base rubber containing a polydiene obtained by polymerizing diene in the presence of a catalyst containing a metallosalen complex and aluminoxane, (b) a co-crosslinking agent, and (c) a crosslinking agent.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thiol compound derivative represented by the following formula (1), a curable composition containing the derivative, and a molded product made of the composition. More particularly, the invention relates to a thiol compound derivative which is added to a polymer having reactivity to a thiol derivative substituent to provide a curable composition, a curable composition containing the derivative and a crosslinkable halogen-containing crosslinking polymer, and a crosslinked molded product of the composition; wherein X1, X2 and X3 are each a group represented by the following formula (2)
Abstract:
In a method and apparatus for testing a number of functions of a temperature measuring device, a temperature measuring portion is subjected to a predetermined temperature, and information outputted by the device is read optically or acoustically. The application of various temperatures and the reading of the outputted information are controlled sequentially in dependence upon the types of functions to be tested, and the read information is compared with predetermined information to determine whether each function passes or fails the test. A thermal equilibrium temperature measurement function of the device is tested by heating the temperature measuring portion to thermal equilibrium. Power is then reintroduced to the device and the initial display of the device is tested to determine if all segments of the display light. Next, the device is cooled to a predetermined temperature, reheating is started and information displayed upon elapse of a first predetermined time period is read to check the automatic measurement start function of the device. Information displayed upon elapse of a second predetermined time period is read to check a predicted equilibrium temperature measurement function. An acoustic warning alarm function is tested by subjecting the device to a high temperature.
Abstract:
A succession of electronic circuit board blanks contoured in a board blank strip support electronic parts such as microcomputers and other components thereon and are joined at spaced intervals by narrow joints such as ribs which are spaced considerably apart from the microcomputers which are highly susceptible to stresses. When the board blanks are severed from each other by cutting off the joints, no substantial stresses will be applied to the microcomputers on the board blanks. The board blanks can easily be separated automatically into electronic circuit boards successively.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to improve the resilience and the shot feeling of the golf ball to be obtained by reducing the content of trans-1,4-bond in a golf ball using for a core a polybutadiene having a high content of cis-1,4-bond. The golf ball of the present invention has a core comprising at least one layer or more and a cover covering the core, at least one layer of the core obtained by molding a rubber composition containing (a) a base rubber containing a polybutadiene obtained by polymerizing 1,3-butadiene in the presence of a catalyst containing a metallosalen complex and aluminoxane, (b) a co-crosslinking agent, and (c) a crosslinking agent.
