摘要: Semiconductor modules are used for controlling drive motors such as the electric motors of electric vehicles. IGBT modules are one type of such semiconductor modules. During operation, heat losses arise in the power transistors and the diodes of the semiconductor modules, which causes an increase in their temperature. Therefore, the manufacturers of the IGBT modules recommend that the software of a control unit that controls an IGBT module be provided with a protective function which continuously monitors the temperature of the IGBT module and intervenes as necessary if an unacceptable temperature of a component of the IGBT module is reached. A temperature model is used for the calculation. The manufacturers provide a more accurate higher-order temperature model that however causes an increased amount of computation. According to the proposal, a reduced temperature model is used that is calculated using the balanced truncation method and is optimized for certain working ranges.

摘要: An integrated circuit includes a memory and peripheral circuits with a temperature sensor used to automatically adjust operating voltages. The temperature sensor includes a reference circuit that generates a first reference with a first non-zero temperature coefficient and a second reference with a second temperature coefficient having a different magnitude than the first non-zero temperature coefficient. A detector circuit on the integrated circuit, having temperature and process variation compensation, converts a difference between the first and second references into a digital signal indicating temperature on the integrated circuit.

摘要: A method for processing a measurement signal T1 of a temperature delivered by a sensor includes: digitally modeling, by a modeled signal T2, the temperature measured by the sensor; and estimating a lag error signal for this sensor, based on the modeled signal T2 and of a signal T3 obtained by filtering the modeled signal, the filtering being parameterized by an estimate of a time constant of the sensor. A temperature signal is obtained by adding to a signal T4, derived from the measurement signal T1, the product of a real parameter K and a signal resulting from the subtraction of the signal T4 from the modeled signal T2. The value of the parameter K applied during the obtaining step varies over time and depends on the value of the estimated lag error signal.

摘要: A predictive electronic thermometer circuit structure capable of temperature compensation is provided, including: a compensation module, a thermometer circuit, and a liquid crystal display (LCD) drive module. The thermometer circuit includes a temperature measurement oscillation circuit and a real measurement module. The compensation module and the real measurement module are connected in parallel between the temperature measurement oscillation circuit and the LCD drive module. The predictive electronic thermometer circuit structure controls the on and off of the compensation module and the real measurement module through a combination logic control switch respectively. When the compensation module is off and the real measurement module is on, an actual measured data is output. When the real measurement module is off and the compensation module is on, a temperature value is output after predictive compensation. The electronic thermometer has a temperature compensation function, and measures the temperature quickly and accurately.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for determining a rotor temperature value TRot for an electric machine, such as an electric motor. In one example, the method includes calculating a support value Pcu2_Trot using a rotor temperature value Trot that is determined with a temperature model and a motor current value Isdq. An auxiliary value Pcu2_Ref can be determined using a motor torque Trq and a motor slip value ωslip. The support value Pcu2_Trot can be linked with the auxiliary value Pcu2_Ref in order to obtain a corrected rotor temperature value DeltaTrot. Furthermore, the temperature model can be modified using the corrected rotor temperature value DeltaTrot in order to obtain a corrected temperature model. Finally, the rotor temperature value TRot can be determined using the corrected temperature model.
