    Abstract: The present invention relates to a binder composition for metal powder injection molding, and more specifically, to a binder composition for metal powder injection molding, which can be promptly debound, facilitates the setting of flow conditions in an injection process, and enables the minimization of poor debinding such as swelling, carbonization of low-molecular-weight binders, and other internal defects, during a debinding process.
    The binder composition for metal powder injection molding of the present invention contains 10 to 50 wt % of a high-viscosity polyoxymethylene polymer and 50 to 90 wt % of a low-viscosity polyoxymethylene polymer.
    By containing polyoxymethylenes alone, which has been produced with different viscosities, without feeding of other monomers in the polymerization process of polyoxymethylene, the binder composition for metal powder injection molding according to the present invention is more economical through low manufacturing costs compared with a conventional technique in which the rate of decomposition by a gas-phase acid is controlled by viscosity adjustment in a polymerization process, and has excellent injection characteristics and debinding/sintering characteristics compared with a technique in which polyoxymethylene and other polymer resins, such as polyolefins and polyamides, are used together.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing dioxolane by reacting ethylene glycol with an aqueous solution of formaldehyde in the presence of an acid catalyst. The raw product comprising water, dioxolane and methanol is fed to a phase separation unit (20) wherein an organic extracting agent is present. An organic fraction stream from the phase separation unit is transferred to an upper part of a purification column (30) from which dioxolane is withdrawn as a bottom product while the distillate stream of the purification column is recycled to the phase separation unit. An aqueous fraction stream from the phase separation unit is transferred to a waste water column (40), withdrawing a waste water stream from the bottom of the waste water column, withdrawing a side stream (42) from a stage between the feed stage and the reflux stage of the waste water column and recycling this stream (42) to the phase separation unit, and withdrawing a distillate stream (43) containing methanol from the waste water column.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composite composition and a molded product manufactured therefrom, and more specifically, to a high-rigidity and high-heat resistance thermoplastic composite composition and a molded product manufactured therefrom.
    The thermoplastic composite composition includes: (a) a first polymer resin including a polyphenylene sulfide polymer having a melt index (ASTM D-1238, 235° C.) of 100 to 150 g/10 min; (b) a second polymer resin including a polyphenylene sulfide polymer having a melt index (ASTM D-1238, 235° C.) of 250 to 850 g/10 min, and an amorphous monomer having an aliphatic cyclobutanediol; (c) a carbon fiber surface-treated with a polyimide; (d) a fatty acid compound; and (e) a heat-resistant additive.
    Since the thermoplastic composite composition according to the present invention uses the polymer resin including the amorphous monomer having the aliphatic cyclobutanediol, compatibility of the carbon fiber and the thermoplastic resin may increase, leading to an improvement in impregnation properties, so that high-rigidity and high-heat resistance aeronautical interior and a structural molded product.
