Abstract:
The invention relates to a flow controlling arrangement having at least one valve (3, 12) with a valve box (14) and with an adjustable valve gate (15) which is located in the valve box (14), the valve box (14) having a supply (16) and at least one discharge (17, 18), the at least one valve (3, 12) varying the water flow amount supplied from the discharge (17, 18) to a bathing vessel (1), especially a bathtub or a whirlpool, or to a fitting (11). In order to make provide a flow controlling arrangement which has an expanded scope of application for the user, there is an actuator (29) which is connected to the valve gate (15) for resetting the valve gate (15) and a control (9) connected to the actuator (29) which triggers the actuator (29) depending on a tune chosen by the user or according to a preset actuating pulse pattern for setting the valve gate (15). Thus, according to the setting of the valve gate (15), a regular or irregular change of the water flow amount through the discharge (17, 18) arises.
Abstract:
A passage choke in particular for the outlet of a plumbing fixture which is installed between the end (9) of the outlet (5) and an aerator (6) or a flow controller, which is provided with a through-flow opening (8) which advantageously has to enlarge it a knockout (12).
Abstract:
A shower partition of the type which is attached to a wall and which can be swiveled as well as swung open and closed, between a rest position and an open position in which the shower partition forms an enclosed shower stall in conjunction with the wall to which it is attached. The shower partition includes a pair of separate subunits, each of which includes a plurality of segments which are hinged with one another. A first end of each subunit is attached to the wall in spaced apart relationship with respect to the first end of the other subunit, and opposite, second ends of the subunits abut one another, when opened, to form the shower stall. When the subunits are opened to form the shower stall, the inner segments are able to fold outward to the rest position while the outer segments are able to fold inward into the rest position but are blocked from folding further outward. Locking elements are attached on the longitudinal edges of the outer segments which engage with one another when the subunits are opened to form the shower stall and which are disengageable from one another only by inwardly directed folding of the outer segments.
Abstract:
This invention concerns a sanitary water valve having a valve assembly, which includes a cylinder having a bore extending longitudinally therethrough and at least one water inlet orifice and a water outlet orifice formed in the cylinder wall; and a slot or opening, extending longitudinally over the length of the cylinder wall. The at least one water inlet orifice and water outlet orifice are formed on the cylinder and positioned the same longitudinal distance from one end thereof. A piston is positioned in the cylinder bore and is rotatably and longitudinally shiftable therein, the piston including a water mixing chamber in the form of a transverse slot or water passage, which is arranged and constructed to connect with at least one water inlet orifice and the water outlet orifice.
Abstract:
A filtration cartridge faucet assembly contains a filtration cartridge having a filter core that is concealed beneath a sink deck through the use of an escutcheon mount. The escutcheon mount permits access to a renewable filtration cartridge from above the sink deck while concealing and protecting the filtration body. The renewable filtration cartridge is equipped with a flow control device, as well as counter rotation devices that prevent undesirable outrotation of a threaded cap.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sanitary proximity valving (1) having an associated control device (8) with a sensor device (9) and a valve device (10) coupled with the control device (8), whereby the control device (8), after detection of a signal by the sensor device (9), activates the valve device (10) to release water. The aim of the invention is to provide a sanitary proximity valving (1) which can be used also in the private sphere without major inconvenience, and is thus characterized in that the control device (8), after detection of a signal from one side, activates the valve device (10) to release cold water, whilst the control device (8), after detection of a signal from the other side, activates the valve device (10) to release warmer water.
Abstract:
A multifunction shower head with a housing, a fixed nozzle plate, and a rotatable nozzle shutter in which is set a screen disk and which is fixed to an adjustment ring has between the housing and the nozzle plate a guide plate with throughgoing passages and a wheel with radially extending and annularly arranged vanes, apertured regions and blocking regions. Rotation of the nozzle shutter relative to the nozzle plate and arresting or releasing of the wheel allows several types of spray to be selected.
Abstract:
A drainage fixture for a sanitary device, such as a sink, lavatory, or bathtub having a drainage socket with a drain hole includes a drainage funnel and a stationary disk inserted into the drain hole of the sanitary device. A plunger, including a plunger head and a guide element, for closing the drain hole is positioned under the stationary disk so as to be movable between a closed and an open position. The drainage funnel has an upper rim portion forming a sealing collar for the plunger head in the closed position. The upper rim portion is recessed in the drain hole so as to provide space for a longitudinal movement of the plunger head between the closed and the open positions. The stationary disk is made of ceramic material of a color adapted to the color of the ceramic material of the sanitary device and has a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the drain hole and at least as great as the greatest diameter of the upper rim portion of the drainage funnel so that an annular gap is formed between the stationary disk and the rim of the drain hole.
Abstract:
A plaster-protective cover for bathroom fittings is mounted recessed in the wall, the cover being fixed to the buried part of the fitting and having an outwards-facing dome-shaped cap designed to protect the fitting parts inside it. The hole in the wall for the fitting is sealed by a collar-like sealing element which produces a watertight seal and which has, at the wall end, an annular flange which rests against the wall. The flange is embedded in a layer of sealing material applied following installation of the buried part of the fitting as the bed layer for subsequently laid tiling, and the flange thus seals off the edge of the hole pierced in the wall for the buried part of the fitting.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a check valve, particularly for sanitary water fittings, whereby preferably the valve closing member (11) is composed of a cone (4) and a cone cap (5), which is provided in the closing direction of the check valve with a dome-like attachment (12) wherein the valve closing member 98) of a pressure-relief valve is located, while the cone (4) has in the opening direction of the check valve a tubular extension (14) with a lateral inlet opening (13), the upper end of this extension forming a valve seat (15) for the valve closing member (8) of the pressure-relief valve (10), whereby this valve closing member (8) on its side facing away from the valve seat (15) rests on the top (16) of the attachment (12).
