Abstract:
An exemplary gate output control method includes the following steps: providing a gate control signal; using an angling control signal to angling modulate the gate control signal so as to generate a modulated gate control signal; and supplying the modulated gate control signal to a first integrated gate driver circuit and a second integrated gate driver circuit, to sequentially control the gate outputs of the first integrated gate driver circuit and the second integrated gate driver circuit. A duty ratio used by the angling control signal at the time of modulating the gate control signal to generate the modulated gate control signal for the first integrated gate driver circuit is different from another duty ratio used by the angling control signal at the time of modulating the gate control signal to generate the modulated gate control signal for the second integrated gate driver circuit.
Abstract:
A system and method comprising providing a plurality of signature strings, inputting a plurality of strings, separating the signature strings into a plurality of signature groups, respectively detecting common features for the signature strings for each of the signature groups and the input strings, comparing the detected common features for each of the signature groups with those of the input strings, and matching the input strings and the signature groups if the detected common features for the signature groups match those of the input strings. In one aspect, the string matching further comprises matching the input strings with the signature strings for those of the signature groups having common features that match the common features of the input strings. In another aspect, the common features comprise distances or gaps between characters in the input strings and the signature strings.
Abstract:
A baseball glove includes a palm side ply that has an inner face and a palm section, and a back side ply facing the inner face and connected to the palm side ply. A cushion sheet is attached to the inner face of the palm side ply, and has a palm portion substantially corresponding to the palm section, a plurality of finger portions extending upwardly from the palm portion, a plurality of webs each extending between two adjacent ones of the finger portions, a hill portion projecting from the palm portion, and a plurality of curved ribs each disposed along a respective one of the webs. The hill portion and the curved ribs have shock-absorbing foamed materials.
Abstract:
An Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) ring for providing protection against fiber failures. The optical network unit (ONU) is coupled to the ring fiber by a three-port passive optical splitting module that has three two-way optical passages. By the three two-way optical passages, the OUN receives/transmits data from/to the two ends of the optical line termination (OLT) to provide protection while the fiber failure. Moreover, it provides better authorization of users and simpler collision detection by the two-way transmission of the three-port passive optical splitting module to prevent hackers from invading and to reduce collisions.
Abstract:
A baseball glove includes a glove body having palm and back side panels which are interconnected to form a hand-receiving pocket that includes finger sections. The back side panel has a through hole below one of the finger sections, and a lacing provided along a periphery of the through hole. The through hole is adapted for extension of a player's index finger therethrough so as to dispose the index finger out of the glove body. A finger-limiting rib unit projects from the back side panel, and surrounds the lacing in a spaced apart relationship. The finger-limiting rib unit has a limiting portion disposed above the lacing and adapted to prevent the player's index finger from slipping on the back side panel.

Abstract:
A back light module of a liquid crystal display device and the liquid crystal display device are provided. The back light module includes a printed circuit board (PCB), a light emitting diode (LED) driver, and a plurality of LED light bars. Each LED light bar has a plurality of LED series. The LED driver simultaneously electrically connects the LED series of different LED light bars via tracks of the PCB.
