    摘要: An electric aircraft brake control system has a plurality of wheel and brake assemblies, each having a wheel, wheel speed transducer, brake assembly and a brake actuator. Electromechanical control units are uniquely associated with and connected to certain of the wheel and brake assemblies, and each of the electromechanical control units is provided with an antiskid system as an integral portion thereof. Brake data concentrators are provided for receiving data corresponding to various aircraft operational parameters, including brake pedal position, and provide operational signals to the electromechanical control unit as a function thereof. A controller for emergency and park braking is connected to the electromechanical actuator controllers through one of the brake data concentrators to effect emergency braking action on the brake assemblies, such emergency braking action having incident antiskid control. The system allows for a redundency in brake control circuitry and operation, which increases the dispatchability of an associated aircraft by ensuring continued effective operation of the aircraft even in view of a failure of one of the redundant circuits or systems. A reduction in weight is also achieve by reducing lengthy cable runs.

A beam is interposed between this cover and a top cap, such that deflection of the beam correlates to applied brake face. Piezo-resistive devices are connected to the beam and, through a whetstone bridge, provide an electrical output signal correlating to applied brake force.

    摘要: A beam key and wheel assembly for aircraft brakes is presented. A beam key is pinned at one end to the aircraft wheel and is engaged proximate an opposite end to a pad on an outrigger flange of the wheel. The pad has a milled arcuate surface which is congruent with and nestingly receives a similar arcuate surface of a foot member. The foot has a channel formed therein on a side opposite the arcuate surface, the channel matingly receiving a base on a bottom surface of the beam key. A bolt passes through the beam key, foot, and pad on the outrigger flange to secure the elements together.

    摘要: A heat shield segment includes at least one tab extending from an outboard end, the tab adapted to secure the heat shield segment against radial and axial movement. The at least one tab is received over a retaining ring positioned within a tube well of a wheel. The retaining ring is received in recesses formed in the inner surface of drive keys spaced around the interior of the tube well. The heat shield segment is secured at the inboard end by a fastener, and is spaced from the tube well by a spacer positioned between the heat shield segment and the tube well. The at least one tab of the heat shield segment allows for easy assembly and maintenance of the heat shield assembly formed by a plurality of the heat shield segments.
