Abstract:
Provided is a banknote sorter. A light source unit obliquely illuminates light at a designated angle onto a surface of a banknote when the banknote is being transferred through the banknote sorter by a driving means. A light sensor unit is placed to sense the light that is irradiated at the designated angle onto the surface of the banknote and/or tape, reflected from the surface of the banknote and/or the tape, and is incident onto the light sensor unit at an angle different from the designated angle. A control unit controls the light source unit, processes sensing information from the light sensor unit, and discriminates any tape on the banknote.
Abstract:
A method of processing a blood vessel image is provided. The method includes (a) sharpening an original blood vessel image using a Gabor filter in consideration of various directions and thicknesses of blood vessels included in the blood vessel and (b) detecting edges according to a change in brightness in a blood vessel domain and a non-blood vessel domain of the original blood vessel image and the blood vessel image on which the Gabor filtering step is completed, using an edge extraction method based on a first-order differentiation or second-order differentiation.

There is disclosed a continuously variable speed gear set including a driving input shaft, a carrier extended from one end of the driving input shaft to rotate integrally with the driving input shaft, a spindle gear provided in a predetermined portion of the carrier to relatively rotate with respect to the driving input shaft, the spindle gear comprising a shaft identical to the driving input shaft, a planetary gear arranged in the carrier, a driving output gear comprising a shaft arranged on the same line with the axis of the driving input shaft to relatively rotate, the driving output gear engaging with the planetary gear rotating and revolving along the rotation of the carrier to receive a rotation force from the planetary force, and a transmission input unit configured to control a rotation speed of the driving output gear by controlling a rotation speed of the spindle gear.
