    Abstract: Provided is a banknote sorter. A light source unit obliquely illuminates light at a designated angle onto a surface of a banknote when the banknote is being transferred through the banknote sorter by a driving means. A light sensor unit is placed to sense the light that is irradiated at the designated angle onto the surface of the banknote and/or tape, reflected from the surface of the banknote and/or the tape, and is incident onto the light sensor unit at an angle different from the designated angle. A control unit controls the light source unit, processes sensing information from the light sensor unit, and discriminates any tape on the banknote.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for displaying information about the use of a hack tool in the online game. When a game IDentification (ID) is input, a client system accesses a security server, and requests and receives the number of times that one or more hack tools have been used for the game ID. The client system provides the game ID and the number of times that hack tools have been used to a game server so that the number of times that hack tools have been used is shared by one or more gamers who participate in the game provided by the game server. When the client system detects the use of a hack tool, the client system increases the number of times that hack tools have been used for the game ID by 1, and provides the number of times that hack tools have been used to the security server.

    Abstract: The present invention is related to an apparatus and a method for controlling operations of low sound output in an audio system.     Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for transmitting data in a station of a wireless local area network (LAN) system. In the apparatus, a data queue stores transmission data, and a data processor processes data output from the data queue. A radio frequency (RF) module up-converts a signal output from the data processor to a frequency band of the wireless LAN system, and transmits the up-converted signal as an RF signal. A scheduler performs scheduling such that a specific stepping index decreases each time a backoff time reaches ‘0’ so as to determine whether to transmit the data, and the data is transmitted when both the stepping index and the backoff time reach ‘0’. A backoff stepping generator determines an initial value of the stepping index within a predetermined range.

    Abstract: A micro air vehicle having a bendable wing enabling the micro air vehicle to fly. The bendable wing may be bent downwards so that the wingspan may be reduced for storing the micro air vehicle. The bendable wing may be formed from one or more layers of material, and the wing may have a camber such that a concave surface of the wing faces downward. The wing may substantially resist flexing upwards and may transfer uplift forces to a central body of the micro air vehicle. In addition, the wing may be bent severely downwards by applying a force to tips of the wing. The micro air vehicle is capable of being stored in a small cylindrical tube and may be deployed from the tube by simply releasing the micro air vehicle from the tube.
