The mobile communication terminal according to an embodiment includes a wireless communication unit configured to receive a call, a display unit configured to display that the call is received and to output an image for selecting either a first item or a second item, if the call is received by the wireless communication unit, an input unit having a key for selecting either the first or second item, and a control unit configured to connect the received call if the first item is selected and to control the display unit to output an image for displaying that the call is received if the second is selected, when the upper body is closed against the lower body. Accordingly, a call is connected or a message is transceived even if the terminal is in the closed status.
