摘要： A method and apparatus to determine residual long volume of a subject is disclosed. Physical characteristics of water in a pool and surrounding air barometric pressure is determined. A body of the subject is completely submerged in the pool of water at a known depth and exhales. The subject then moves to a shallower depth in the water and completely exhales air into an air measuring device. The residual lung volume is then determined and displayed based on the water characteristics, barometric air pressure, the amount of air exhaled into the air measuring device, and the depths of the subject during exhalation.

摘要： A beam-shaping element is provided to shape RF feed energy for reflector-based antennas. The RF beam-shaping element is located between the primary reflector and the antenna feed and configured to direct RF energy from the feed away from a blockage created by the feed itself towards unblocked regions of the primary reflector. The beam-shaping element allows for a simplified feed design. The feed may comprise one or more feed elements, each comprising a radiating element and a feed to the radiating element such as a cavity-backed slot radiator and stripline trace. In a monopulse tracking system, each quadrant may include only a single feed element. In common aperture systems, the RF beam-shaping element may be formed on only the rear surface of the secondary reflector that allows transmission at the predefined RF wavelength while reflecting energy of a second predetermined wavelength to another sensor.

摘要： The present invention provides a multivalent immunogenic composition having 15 distinct polysaccharide-protein conjugates. Each conjugate consists of a capsular polysaccharide prepared from a different serotype of Streptococcus pneumoniae (1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, 22F, 23F or 33F) conjugated to a carrier protein, preferably CRM197. The immunogenic composition, preferably formulated as a vaccine on an aluminum-based adjuvant, provides broad coverage against pneumococcal disease, particularly in infants and young children.

A first user is determined to be communicating with a second user in a virtual environment. One of the first user and the second user is determined to have entered a character set substantially matching a keyword in a database entry. Location information associated with the keyword is identified. The location information indicates a location within the virtual environment. The location information is linked to the character set. The character set is visually changed to indicate to the first user and the second user that location information has been linked to the character set.
