摘要: A device and methods are provided for accessing memory. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a request for data stored in a device, checking a local memory for data based on the request to determine if one or more blocks of data associated with the request are stored in the local memory, and generating a memory access request for one or more blocks of data stored in a memory of the device based when one or more blocks of data are not stored in the local memory. In one embodiment, data stored in memory of the device may be arranged in a configuration to include a plurality of memory access units each having adjacent lines of pixel data to define a single line of memory within the memory access units. Memory access units may be configured based on memory type and may reduce the number of undesired pixels read.

摘要: Technologies for controlling vision correction include a wearable computing device having a variable lens, an eye tracking sensor, and a depth sensor. The focal length of the variable lens is electronically adjustable. The wearable computing device determines a gaze direction of a user as a function of eye tracking sensor data received from the eye tracking sensor. The distance to an object positioned in the gaze direction is determined as a function of depth data received from the depth sensor. A new focal length is determined as a function of the distance to the object, and the focal length of the variable lens is adjusted to the new focal length. The new focal length may be selected from a set of pre-defined focal lengths based on the distance to the object or calculated based on the distance to the object. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: Systems and methods directed to determining motion in a video signal are provided. A plurality of pixels of a plurality of adjacent field lines of alternating parity of the video signal are evaluated to generate a plurality of differential values. A sign of each differential value is determined, and when each differential value has the same sign, at least one differential value can be compared with a threshold value. Responsive to the comparison of at least one differential value with a threshold value, a motion coefficient indicative of a magnitude of motion associated with one of the plurality of pixels can be generated.

摘要: Camera control architecture and methods that distribute control responsibilities across hard real-time and soft real-time parts. The operation of digital camera control algorithms can be made less sensitive to timing fluctuations among the various systems within a device platform that includes a camera module (CM) and/or image signal processing (ISP) pipeline. Real-time dispatch of control parameter values may be offloaded from a controller responsible for generating control parameter values. With relaxed timing requirements, camera control algorithm libraries may be developed independent of lower-level hardware responsible for managing the dispatch of control parameter values to the CM and/or ISP.

摘要: A circuit capable of reading an input from a device on one pin of an integrated circuit package during one time period and either writing data to another device or reading an input from the other device through the same pin during another time period. In one exemplary implementation in which the one pin is used to write data to the other device, the circuit may sense when data is not being written and change the function of the one pin from that of an output pin to that of an input pin until such time as further data is to be written.

摘要: Systems and methods directed to processing a video signal, either interlaced or progressive, are provided. A plurality of samples of a reconstructed macroblock of the video signal are evaluated to generate data associated with at least one of the plurality of samples. The data and the reconstructed macroblock can be provided from memory to a deinterlacer unit, and the method can control the deinterlacer unit to deinterlace the reconstructed macroblock based at least in part on the data. Artifacts of the video signal can be identified and removed based on the stored sample data associated with the samples.
