Abstract:
Device and method for the alignment of stacked products to be wrapped such as newspapers, magazines and books, with or without inserts, of any thickness or size. Sheet placers feed products into the device via a conveyor system equipped with pushers, set at predetermined positions. The products are aligned by engaging elements that rotate through a slot inside of which the conveyor pushers also slide. The engaging elements decrease in speed as they intercept the products, and align the products with the conveyor pushers as they are transported along the conveyor to a packaging area.
Abstract:
A deviator device for transporting products, in particular graphic or editorial products, which receives one or a stacked number of products and feeds them to a further station for a subsequent handling stage, The deviator device includes a transport table located on a support structure and provided with advancement elements for the products. More particularly the support structure is articulated so as to be able to be curved and swivelled by virtue of being formed from a plurality of support elements hinged one to another by pivots. Each support element carrying strip or slat elements on its upper surface, there being provided for the advancement elements drive apparatus able to achieve a speed differentiation between the two transverse sides of the advancement elements as the deviation position of the support structure varies. Also included is an actuator for causing one end of the support structure to move between positions aligned with transport units.
Abstract:
Apparatus for the controlled feeding of products in sheet form in a collating or packaging machine comprising a framework on which there is installed a magazine portion containing the products in sheet form to be fed, a drawing/advancement unit for drawing one of the products in sheet form from the magazine portion and for advancing it towards a push-bar conveyor on top of which one of the products in sheet form, drawn in that way, has to be placed. This apparatus comprises at least one accompanying element which performs the task of accompanying the so-drawn product in sheet form to the top of the push-bar conveyor, with at least one accompanying element being interposed between the drawing/advancement unit and the push-bar conveyor, with actuation elements being furthermore provided. The actuation elements perform the task of actuating accompanying element, and intervene whenever the drawn product in sheet form has left the drawing/advancement unit and is placed in the nearby of the push-bar conveyor.
Abstract:
A composite conveyor apparatus, composed of conveyor elements of plate type installed successively to each other and individually and selectively tiltable relatively to both sides of the sliding and advancing direction, so as to carry out in a predetermined and preselected way the delivery of the conveyed products. The tilting of the individual plate conveyor elements at the unloading or outlet region, which is preselected to take place at the right-hand side or at the left-hand side of the advancing path is controlled by way of switching elements, which are actuated by relevant actuators, in their turn caused to act by suitably programmed sensor elements destined to detect the product.
Abstract:
A centralized drive device in a machine for packaging products in continuous plastic film which unwinds from a reel comprising essentially a feed unit for said products, an individual product feed unit, a unit for wrapping said products in said film, and a unit for welding and cutting the individual packaged products, in which a rigid transmission shaft extends along the entire length of the interior of the packaging machine from a central variable-speed drive. A series of individual motion transmissions, each operating one of the units of the machine, branches from the shaft, there being also connected to the variable-speed drive a further variable-speed drive which, by positive transmission, drives a belt for conveying the products to be packaged, in accordance with the predetermined succession.
Abstract:
Method for the packaging of articles with a plastic film which is based on the use of a packaging machine equipped with transverse welding devices arranged along a longitudinal direction where the method involves the steps of (a) positioning the articles on a conveyor belt with pushers activated by a motor; (b) distancing the articles from one another to provide a constant space or pitch; (c) feeding the plastic film, in the direction of the conveyor belt; (d) longitudinally welding the film in the direction articles on the conveyor belt; (e) activating the motor group situated downstream with respect to the welding device to weld and separate the film in the space between articles; and (f) activating the motor group of the welding device situated upstream with respect to another welding device to weld and separate the film in the space between the articles.
Abstract:
A manipulation and printing device for labels fed from label sheets, in which labels (15) are fed to a cutting group (18) placed above a feed belt (19) of suction type (20) equipped with superficial holes, placed perpendicular to the feed direction of a continuous label sheet (12), and to a labeller (30), in which it is foreseen associated to the first feed belt (19) a second feed belt (24) and a print head (23), placed near a first side end perpendicular to the feed direction of the label sheet (12), the feed belts (19, 24) being facing in one of their sections in order to advance the single printed label from the print head (23) towards the labeller (30). Furthermore, a method is realized in which labels (15) are fed to a cutting group (18) placed above a feed belt (19, 20) placed perpendicular to the feed direction of a continuous label sheet (12), and then to a labeller (30), where the method foresees a feeding of the single labels by means of the first feed belt (19) towards a print head (23) located near a first side end perpendicular to the feed direction of the label sheet (12), to print one single label after another and direct the single printed (14) labels (15) towards the labeller (30).
