Abstract:
A transformer winding having a conductor wound in a plurality of turns is disclosed, wherein the transformer winding includes a reinforcing part arranged at a winding transition in a manner so that the reinforcing part covers more than 180 degrees of the conductor circumference, whereby the bending strength of the conductor at the location of the reinforcing part is increased. The resistibility of the transformer winding against bending stress is hence improved.
Abstract:
Method and arrangement for providing a combination instrument (1) for a motor vehicle that includes a display (2) for giving messages to an operator, at least four separate switches (3) for receiving messages from an operator, a menu system (6) and a separate control output (8) for adjusting a seat steplessly. In addition, the invention relates to a system having a combination instrument and an adjustable seat and a method for adjusting a seat using a combination instrument.
Abstract:
A method for powder metallurgical production of bar stock from an iron, nickel or cobalt based alloy comprises the steps of introducing a powder of the desired alloy into a tubular container together with a reducing agent and an oxygen getter, sealing the container without evacuating it, heating the sealed container and the powder therein, compacting the heated container by progressive forging and rolling the forged blank. Equipment for forging the container includes a tool having upper and lower dies defining between them an open-ended forging cavity which tapers from an entrance end towards an exit end and through which the container is fed in step-wise manner.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparation of a granular composition, which comprises magnesium and phosphorus. In the process, magnesium oxide is granulated with addition of a granulating liquid, which contains phosphoric acid and water. According to the invention, the granulating liquid, besides phosphoric acid and water, also contains sulphuric acid.
