摘要: The invention is directed to a novel attenuated canine parvovirus (CPV) strain which may be used as a veterinary vaccine against CPV disease. The invention is further directed to a virus stock generated from a genomic DNA clone of the attenuated CPV strain which is used as a veterinary vaccine and is able to confer protective immunity to dogs against challenge with virulent CPV. Methods are given for the production of an attenuated CPV virus from a cloned CPV genome which may be used as a veterinary vaccine.
