摘要: A latticed packing member for gas-liquid contacting system having an odd number of plural longitudinal strips and an even number of plural lateral strips, the latter number being one less the number of the longitudinal strips. These strips are crossed at right angles on their sides, and the bottom thereof is chamfered. At least one projected area is provided on the strips, on which a notch for engagement is formed. At the center of lattice sections other than sections provided with the projected areas, there is provided a reinforcement with a flat bottom. The longitudinal strip located at the center of the member coincides with the axial center line X of the lateral strip in the direction A of its length, and the axial center line Y of the longitudinal strip in the direction B of its length is formed by the lateral strip which passes the center of the lateral lattice section located at the center. The axial center lines X and Y intersect with each other at the center.

摘要: An exhaust gas treatment apparatus for the removal of at least a sulfur dioxide gas and ammonia from an exhaust gas by bringing the exhaust gas into vapor-liquid contact with an absorbing liquid comprises an introduction-side tank to which the absorbing liquid is supplied, a parallel-flow type absorption tower positioned above the introduction-side tank; an ejection side tank positioned adjacent the introduction side tank; a counter-flow type absorbing tower positioned above the ejection side tank; a mist eliminator for removing splash mist from the exhaust gas; and a controller for controlling the pH of the absorbing liquid in one of the introduction-side absorption tower and the ejection-side absorption tower.

摘要: This invention provides a flue gas treating system which, though having a basic construction using a small-sized and high-performance gas-liquid contact apparatus comprising the combination of a parallel-flow absorption tower and a counterflow absorption tower, can reduce the ammonia concentration in the treated flue gas to a low level. This system includes a tank (21) for holding an absorbing fluid fed thereto; an inlet side absorption tower (22) of the counterflow type which extends upward from one lateral part of the tank (21) and in which untreated flue gas (A) is introduced from its lower end and brought into gas-liquid contact with the absorbing fluid within the tank (21); and an outlet side absorption tower (23) of the parallel-flow type which extends upward from another lateral part of the tank (21) and in which the flue gas leaving the inlet side absorption tower (22) is introduced from its upper end and brought into gas-liquid contact with the absorbing fluid within the tank (21).

摘要: A gas-liquid contacting apparatus in which spray nozzles for spraying slurry solution upward are arranged in a tower body through which gas passes, wherein a liquid inlet portion of the spray nozzle is of a bell shape having a radius of curvature of 0.2 times or more of the diameter of a liquid discharge port of the spray nozzle, and a ceramic nozzle support structure comprises: (A) a ceramic nozzle having a ridge portion on the outer peripheral surface of a nozzle body; (B) a tightening flange including a flange body having an aperture larger than the outside shape of the nozzle body and a central cylindrical portion extending substantially concentrically with the nozzle body from lower surface of the flange body, the tightening flange having through holes in the wall of central cylindrical portion thereof; (C) a support nozzle consisting of a cylindrical body having an inside diameter larger than the central cylindrical portion of tightening flange and connected to the tightening flange by bolting via the flange body at the upper portion of the cylindrical body; and (D) an elastomeric resin filled in a space between the nozzle and the support nozzle so that the outside and inside of the central cylindrical portion of tightening flange are integrated via the through holes.
