The glass composition comprises 0.1-5.0 % by weight of Ag2O in a composition containing 45-67 mol % of P2O5, 5-20 mol % of A12O3, 1-22 mol % of one or more selected from MgO, CaO and ZnO, and 1-20 mol % of B2O3. An antibacterial fiber contains the antibacterial imparting glass composition in a ratio of 0.1-2.5%.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a glass container by the steps of (a) providing a plunger with two portions, one portion having a sprayed metal coating of self-fluxing alloy and the second portion having a ceramic coating, (b) forming a lubrication carbon layer on surfaces of molds including a blank mold and a neck ring by periodically injecting flames of at least one kind of gaseous hydrocarbon having a carbon to hydrogen ratio more than 0.75, (c) supplying a gobbet of glass to the blank mold; (d) producing the parison from the gobbet of glass, using the plunger, the blank mold and the neck ring; and (e) blow-forming the parison to a glass container of a final configuration.

The present invention provides an antibacterial glass composition containing 0.1 to 5.0% by weight of Ag2O in a glass composition containing 30 to 60 mol % of P2O5, 1 to 15 mol % of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of K2O, Na2O and Li2O, 35 to 55 mol % of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of MgO, CaO and ZnO, and 0.01 to 3 mol % of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of La2O3 and Y2O3.

摘要： An antibacterial property imparting glass composition is provided, which may be fixed in a form of, for example, a particle on the surface of a fiber substrate and/or dispersed and complexed in the fiber substrate. Such an antibacterial property imparting glass composition comprises 0.1 to 5.0% by weight of Ag2O in a composition containing 45-67 mol % of P2O5, 5 to 20 mol % of Al2O3, 1 to 40 mol % of 1 or 2 or more selected from MgO, CaO and ZnO, and 20 mol % or less of B2O3. An antibacterial fiber containing such an antibacterial property imparting glass composition at a ratio of, for example, 0.1 to 5.0% by weight shows high water resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and detergent resistance in antibacterial property.
