摘要： A solid state circuit which has a plurality of integrated circuit elements, each having at least a pair of connecting terminals. The operability of the individual elements is determined by providing an arrangement including an insulating layer on the solid state circuit, this insulating layer having arranged on it the pairs of terminals of the individual elements with the insulating layer insulating all of the terminals from each other. At least one further layer is arranged on the insulating layer and covers at least the respective pairs of terminals of the elements. This further layer has, at least in the region where it covers respective pairs of element terminals, optical characteristics which are selectively variable in dependence on the potential difference between the pairs of terminals of each respective element. The arrangement may be used as a picture producer, converter or amplifier.

摘要： An acoustic surface-wave filter comprises an element which is excitable to perform surface oscillations, which is formed at least partly of piezoelectric material and has interference locations for the surface wave on its surface together with electromechanical converter means, at least some of the interference locations forming a resonator with the average spacing of the interference locations being equal to a half of the wavelength of the surface waves or a whole number multiple of a half of the wavelength of the surface waves.

摘要： Integrated resonator matrix for wavelength-selective separation or joining of channels in the frequency domain of optical communications technology.Arrangement of optical resonators which are composed of dielectric waveguides which are mirrored at their ends predominantly with reflectors having high reflection factors close to the value one and whose longitudinal extent between the reflectors is great in comparison to the transverse dimensions perpendicular thereto, all optical resonators are integrated such on a substrate to form a matrix-like arrangement, referred to as resonator matrix. Two types of resonators can be distinguished, whereby the resonators of the first type are highly coupled to one another and act as coupled resonators (22, 221, 222), whereas the resonators of the second type act as wavelength-selective useful resonators (23, 231, 232) and, compared to the couplings between the resonators of the first type, are weakly coupled to one another or, respectively, to the resonators of the first type and form at least two useful resonator groups which are not coupled to one another (or are coupled to one another as little as possible) whereby a useful resonator group contains one or more useful resonators.

摘要： A pickup system for playing back signals stored on the surface of a carrier in a form providing an optically detectable property which varies as a function of the time pattern of the stored signals, the storage being constituted by undulations or variations in the reflectivity of the carrier surface and the pickup system employing a laser beam which is reflected in a manner controlled by the stored information. The system includes a laser radiation generating element forming part of an optical resonator which also includes the carrier surface so that the intensity of radiation oscillations in the resonator is influenced by the surface and varies as the carrier moves relative to the laser element. The system also includes an output member for converting such intensity variations into an electrical signal representative of the stored signals.
