Abstract:
The invention is directed to a voice transmitter for a breathing protective mask. The voice transmitter includes a membrane housing (2) and a clamping ring (3) which can be connected to the membrane housing (2). The voice transmitter also includes a voice membrane (4) between the membrane housing (2) and the clamping ring (3). The voice membrane (4) has an outer membrane portion (14) which is accommodated at a connecting location between the clamping ring (3) and the membrane housing (2). An inner portion (15) of the membrane (4) is tensioned over an annularly-shaped projection (8) located on the membrane housing (2). The pretensioning of the voice membrane is adjusted in a simple manner in that the clamping ring (3) has an annularly-shaped support surface 13 for the inner membrane portion (15) and that the connecting location is configured as a threaded connection (7, 10).
Abstract:
The connection of a breathing mask to a safety helmet provides increased wearing comfort. A fastening mount (12) with circular arc-shaped inner contour (14) is provided, and the bracket for the breathing mask has a projection corresponding thereto. The projection is in contact with the inner contour (14) of the fastening mount (12), so that the bracket is displaceable in relation to the fastening mount (12) in a rotatingly movable manner.
Abstract:
A breathing mask (1) with a chamber housing fastened in the mask body (2) for accommodating at least one breathing connection (4), an exhalation valve (6), and a speaking diaphragm are improved such that the chamber housing can be replaced in a simple manner. The circumferential surface of the chamber housing is provided with a plug-type connection piece (35), the mask body (2) has a support with a shape corresponding to the plug-type connection piece (35), and the plug-type connection piece (35) and the support are detachably connected via a locking member (40).
Abstract:
A breathing mask shall has an inspiration valve (4) that can be replaced in a simple manner. The breathing valve (4) is designed for this purpose as a modular assembly unit that can be inserted into the breathing gas channel (3) from the outer side (10) of the mask.
Abstract:
A gas mask for normal pressure operation and overpressure operation allows changeover of the expiration valve (4) from normal pressure operation to overpressure operation is made possible in a simple manner. The pretension of the valve spring (7) of the expiration valve (4) is adjusted by an angle lever (10) pivotable about an axis of rotation (13).
Abstract:
A method of supplying respiratory air to a user, and a breathing apparatus for this purpose. An inner and an outer mask are provided, the inner mask communicating only with the respiratory passages of the user and the outer mask covering the face of the user. Super-atmospheric pressure is maintained in the outer mask and the outer mask is communicated with the interior of the inner mask during suction created in the inner mask as a result of inhalation. Air flowing from the outer mask into the inner mask is replenished from an extraneous air supply. When the exhalation cycle begins, the communication between the inner and outer mask is interrupted and exhaled air is vented from the inner mask directly to the ambient atmosphere.

Abstract:
A breathing mask with a fixed, curved mask body and with a mask edge extending around the mask body and adapted to the shape of the face for attaching a sealing edge sealing the mask body against the face and with a supply opening located in the mouth area of the mask body. The mask body provides low-distortion vision along with the largest possible useful field of vision. To accomplish this task, the curvature in azimuthal section planes (5, 6, 7) of the mask body (1) is designed to decrease continuously in the corresponding section plane toward the mask edge (2), starting from a meridian symmetry axis (4) of the mask body; that the azimuthal curvature on the meridian symmetry axis (4) also decreases monotonically, starting from the mouth area (8); and that the meridian curvature of the mask body 1 along the symmetry axis (4) is essentially uniform.
