摘要: The pressure cooker has a pot (2) with a base and a side wall and an upper rim (6). A lid (3) can be connected to the pot (2) in a sealed manner along the abovementioned upper rim (6). In the presence of a predetermined positive pressure, a locking device (12) connects the lid (3) to the pot in a non-releasable manner in conjunction with a pressure element (11) arranged on the lid (3). The locking device (12), in a fitting (5) of the lid (3), has a rocker (12a) which is mounted in a movable manner and, for control purposes and in order to lock the lid (3), interacts with the pot (2) and the abovementioned pressure element (11). Locking takes place automatically when the pressure cooker is closed and the locking means can be produced in a reliable and cost-effective manner.

摘要: The invention relates to a distance measuring instrument for pedicle screws which detects the spacing between two pedicle screws (3, 3′) with the ends (26, 27) of two crossing limbs (11, 12) and displays it on a crossbar (25) fixedly connected to one of the limbs at a scale (22). Since the second limb (12) is divided into a pointer (16a) and into a flexural spring extending parallel to it at which a pronounced thumb grip (21a) is fastened, and since the thumb grip is connected to a scale (24) via which a pre-determined pre-tension can be read off relative to the pointer (16a), a spacing measurement can take place under a controlled pre-tension.

摘要: A telescopic table system (32) is used for imaging a subject in at least a first modality (12) and a second modality (14). The first modality is disposed adjacent to the second modality to align a subject receiving bore (24) of the first modality with a subject receiving bore (36) of the second modality. The telescoping table system (32) includes a base (108), an intermediate pallet (78) and a subject pallet (82) on which a subject is loaded prior to imaging. The subject pallet (82) is mounted and supported to retain a constant cantilevering with respect to the intermediate pallet (78) at all longitude positions to prevent deflection changes while extending into any of the imaging modalities. The subject pallet (82) is moved through the first modality subject receiving bore (24) for imaging in the first modality. The subject pallet (82) is withdrawn from the first modality (12) and aligned with the intermediate pallet (78). The intermediate pallet (78) is extended through the first modality subject receiving bore (24) to the intermediate support (118) which is disposed between the first and second modalities. The subject pallet (82) is moved along the intermediate pallet (78) through the second modality subject receiving bore (36) for imaging, while the intermediate pallet is supported by the intermediate support (118).

摘要: The invention relates to an instrument system for pedicle screws having a thread in their head which has a clamping screw in the direction of their screw axes, which can be actuated by a power screw driver, with holders for the absorbing of a torque contacting the head of the pedicle screw in a shape matched manner. Since the holders have a tubular part which is coordinated with its inner diameter to the guiding of the clamping screw and with centring parts being able to be fastened in the heads of the pedicle screws instead of the clamping screws, said pedicle screws being engageable when the holder is mounted on, the contact to the inserted pedicle screw can also be maintained with a non visible, i.e. smaller operation field, in order mount the same holder or other holders a plurality of times.

摘要: An isolation system with imaging or radiation therapy capability is disclosed. At least one containment barrier (14, 15, 16, 17) defines an isolation region (10). An imaging or therapy system (20) is disposed outside of the isolation region. The containment barrier includes a substantially hollow tubular extension (24, 42, 44, 124, 224, 324) protruding away from the isolation region (10). The substantially hollow tubular extension surrounds an interior volume (26) that is in fluid communication with the isolation region and is in fluid isolation from the imaging or therapy system. The substantially hollow tubular extension is made at least partially of a material providing operative communication between the imaging or therapy system and the interior volume of the substantially hollow tubular extension.
