    摘要: Systems, methods, and computer programs for implementing a common tag format in an Internet advertising and tracking system are provided. In one embodiment, the system includes an ad delivery system, a beacon system, and a management system. The ad delivery system serves ads to a browser visiting a publisher's web page. The beacon system collects usage data on the publisher's web site. The management system receives a service request, checks the request type of the service request, and then forwards the request to the ad delivery system, or to the beacon system, or to both, according to the request type. The service request is originated by a common tag embedded in the publisher's web page when loaded by a browser. The same common tag format is used for ad and tracking requests, thereby simplifying the management of the publisher's website and simplifying the migration process to change from just tracking a website to serving ads, merely by changing a parameter in the tag embedded in the publisher's page.

    摘要: Titration of a combination of drugs or treatment modalities within individual subjects is carried out using an evolutionary operation (EVOP) direct-search procedure such as the Nelder-Mead simplex. Desirability functions are incorporated to define the main response of interest and additional responses or constraints. Statistical methodology for determining whether the titrated treatment combination has resulted in an improvement in patient response and for evaluating whether a therapeutic synergism exists is also incorporated. Inferences can be made about the efficacy of the combination or about the individual drugs or treatment modalities that comprise the combination. This approach allows every patient the potential to benefit from the combination under study and permits the consideration of multiple endpoints simultaneously.

    摘要: A system for defining objects within a database is disclosed. The system includes an inventory identification application that generates an inventory identifier. The inventory identifier being a reference saved to the database that specifies characteristics of data within an inventory unit. A publisher using the inventory identifier application defines the specific characteristics and the inventory identifier application generates code. The publishers use the generated code within a website to recall the inventory identifier that is saved in the database. The system also includes a server system that receives a request to recall the inventory identifier. The request is the result of execution of the generated code when the website is accessed by a user. The request is fulfilled by accessing the inventory identifier at the database and matching data within the inventory unit based on the stored characteristics within the inventory identifier.

    摘要: Generally, embodiments of the present invention provides for methods, systems and computer program products for utilizing non-compete advertisement tags in an advertisement serving system. The method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises identifying one or more web pages that contain a first advertisement tag and selecting a given web page from the one or more web pages. A second inactive advertisement tag is then inserted into the web page, which requests an advertisement for the web page that is subsequently ignored. The method further comprises monitoring a number of impressions the web page receives using the second advertisement tag in order to determine a traffic forecast. The method further comprises setting the second advertisement tag to an active status, causing the first advertisement tag from the web page to be removed and an advertisement to be returned in response to the request by the second advertisement tag.
