摘要: In some aspects of the inventive subject matter, there is provided a monitor for monitoring at least one operational condition of an underwater mooring line, the monitor comprising an elongate main body, a protective shroud, at least one operational condition sensor for monitoring the, or each, operational condition, at least one acoustic transmitter, and (in some instances) a source of electrical power for powering the operation of the sensor and transmitter. The main body has at first and second ends respectively first and second mooring line connections (each configured for connection to a respective mooring line) and an intermediate portion. In use, the intermediate section is under tension between the first and second ends when the mooring line is under load. The, or each, operational condition sensor is attached to the intermediate section, the sensor having a signal output for providing a signal regarding the sensed operational condition.

摘要: Delivery of a message over a communications network from a sender based on a single delivery address. The single delivery address is generated as one unit for the message. The single delivery address has a collection of recipient addresses including one or more recipient addresses each identifying at least one recipient of the message. Each of the one or more recipient addresses includes a user level information and a domain level information. The generated single delivery address with the collection of recipient addresses is included in the message. A copy of the message is provided to the identified recipient(s) as a function of the domain level information of the one or more recipient addresses. The message is transmitted over the communications network to the identified recipient(s) recipient based on the collection of recipient addresses.

摘要: The present invention facilitates clock and data recovery for serial data streams by providing a mechanism that can be employed to detect and adjust operation and timing of clocks. The invention employs a differential analog circuit, using current steering logic, to process center and edge samples and identify an average operation of the clocks. The circuit can identify transitions between adjacent center/edge data samples and determine whether an identified transition is early or late for each bit in a set of consecutive bits of a received serial data stream.

摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for automatically detecting and resolving conflicts between devices on a security network by comparing the IP addresses of all devices on the network. When one or more conflicts are detected, the user is presented with the option of reassigning the conflicting device to a DHCP address, or to a new static IP address. The new static IP address can be configured to lie within a user defined range. In one embodiment, a default changes the address to any free address on the network. The disclosed method and apparatus automates the conflict resolution process without requiring that network devices (e.g., cameras, camera encoders) be individually and sequentially connected to the security network in order to resolve conflicts. The disclosed approach results in reduced human interaction and is much faster than the traditional approach of adding devices one at a time to the network. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
