摘要： An internal combustion engine includes an engine cylinder; a first intake port leading to the cylinder for introducing combustion gases thereinto; a first intake valve situated at the cylinder in the first intake port; a second intake port leading to the cylinder for introducing combustion gases thereinto; a second intake valve situated at the cylinder in the second intake port; and a throttle arrangement situated in the second intake port for varying a flow passage cross section thereof. The throttle arrangement includes a flat sliding member movable in a direction of motion thereof perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the second intake port for varying the flow passage cross section thereof.
