A destination determining part recognizes the number of storage devices with the information stored by the configuration managing part, and fetches one or more empty-block addresses for specifying empty storage areas included in each storage device from the empty area managing part. The destination determining part then repeatedly rearranges the empty-block addresses at random to determine destination of data.

    摘要: An encrypted packet processing device capable of realizing a predetermined classification process according to a data type while reducing the burden on a processing device in a communication environment in which encrypted packets of different data types exist. A block specifying section specifies a location, in which information necessary for a priority level determination process by a priority level determination section is stored, in an encrypted packet. A specified block decryption section decrypts only a block specified by the block specifying section, and extracts the information necessary for the priority level determination process. The priority level determination section searches a priority level information database using the information extracted by the specified block decryption section as a key, and determines a priority level of the packet.

    摘要: Data blocks and redundant data are distributed across disk drives. In response to a first read request transmitted from a host device, a controller issues second read requests to read the data blocks and the redundant data from the disk drives. Further, the controller detects the disk drive which is no longer required to read the data block or redundant data from among the disk drives, and issues a read termination command to the detected disk drive to terminate reading therefrom. In a disk array device with such structure, even reading of one parity data with much time required does not affect other reading.
