摘要： The invention provides an organic compound(s) hydrogenation device that allows hydrogen derived from water to be stored essentially without generating hydrogen gas. The organic compound hydrogenation device of the invention comprises an oxidation chamber that holds a water-containing electrolyte, a reduction chamber that holds an organic compound(s) with an unsaturated bond, an electrolyte membrane with ion permeability that separates the electrolyte held in the oxidation chamber from the organic compound(s) held in the reduction chamber, an oxidizing electrode that generates protons from the water held in the oxidation chamber, and a reducing electrode that hydrogenates the organic compound(s) held in the reduction chamber.

摘要： There is provided a sound processing apparatus and a sound processing method which are capable of reproducing discrete data with a high-quality sound matching users' preferences. In a sound processing means 2, since an interpolation value reflecting a value of a variable parameter α by which the value of a control sampling function c0(t) is multiplied can be calculated, an analog signal obtained through the interpolation performed in a sampling function sN(t) can be regulated in accordance with the variable parameter α by changing the value of the variable parameter α. In this way, by allowing the user to appropriately change the variable parameter α in accordance with various conditions including music reproduction environments, sound sources, musical tones and so on, it becomes possible to reproduce high-quality-sound music in which its frequency characteristics of the analog signal have changed and a high quality desired by the user is obtained.

摘要： A mesophase pitch suitable for carbon products, particularly for carbon fibers, which has a mesophase content of at least 40%, preferably at least 60%, and a larger mesophase domain, is produced by adding at least one part by weight of at least one of an alcohol and a phenol to 100 parts by weight of heavy bitumens, subjecting the resulting mixture to pretreatment by heating at least at 250.degree. C., and then subjecting the pretreated mixture to heat treatment until mesophases are formed.
