摘要: An electrically operated fluid control valve unit is associated with a moving-coil linear motor which includes the quantity of fluid flow across the tubular core, a permanent magnet for providing magnetic flux through the tubular core, a permanent magnet for providing magnetic flux through the tubular core, a moving-coil wound on the bobbin across the magnetic flux of the magnet to provide a linear force on the bobbin, and a pair of conductive springs connecting the moving-coil to an electric control circuit and biasing the bobbin toward its initial position. Each of the springs is insulated from one another and from the valve housing, the tubular core and the like to prevent from unexpected short of the springs.

摘要: A temperature responsive switch is provided which comprises a pair of bimetal discs having different temperature-deformation characteristics, a pair of fixed electrical contacts and a movable electrical contact. The movable contact engages one of the fixed contacts in response to a deformation of the pair of bimetal discs or remain free from engagement with either fixed contact. The engagement of the movable contact with one or the other of the fixed contacts and the absence of its engagement with either fixed contact constitute three conditionswhich permits a detection of a temperature of at least three different regions.

摘要: A control valve is provided with an inlet and outlet port and a variable flow control arrangement therebetween. The variable flow control arrangement is comprised of a hollow spool member having a plurality of orifices disposed in a spiral manner along the length of the spool and a sleeve having an annular valve member in contact with the spool movable axially of the spool to selectively expose one or more orifices to a valve chamber in communication with the outlet port. The sleeve member is connected to a flexible diaphragm having a first surface exposed to an atmospheric pressure chamber within the control valve and a second surface exposed to a signal vacuum chamber adapted to be connected to a vacuum supply. Spring means are provided in the signal vacuum chamber for normally biasing the sleeve into a position covering all of the orifices in the absence of a vacuum signal within the signal vacuum chamber.

The valve member is slidably mounted with respect to the power piston. A weak spring disposed between the valve member and the power piston normally seats the valve member on the valve seat and movement of the power piston will unseat the valve member to provide a pneumatic control function.

摘要: An outdoor unit for a heat pump is usable under very cold weather conditions since the outdoor unit includes an auxiliary heating system which heats a heat exchanger in order to prevent the heat exchanger from forming frost and which also compensates for the decline in heating capacity. Further, the outdoor unit has an air flow preventing arrangement which prevents the flow of air through the heat exchanger when the absorption of the heat from the atmosphere is not efficient. The outdoor unit drives compressors by an internal combustion engine in order to reduce the consumption of electric power and the coolant for the engine is also utilized to provide auxiliary heat to the heat exchanger. The outdoor unit also includes a boiler to compensate for the lack of heating capacity in the engine waste heat. The boiler is operated when the atmospheric temperature is less than the predetermined value.

摘要: The present invention provides a new and improved solenoid actuated valve device for controlling the flow of fluid comprising a body having an inlet and an outlet port extending therethrough, a hollow tubular core axially mounted within said body with one end thereof disposed in communication with said outlet port and having at least one radially extending aperture therethrough to provide communication between said inlet port and said outlet port, a bobbin slidably mounted on said core to control the effective open area of said aperture, a solenoid coil wound on said bobbin, an annular yoke resiliently mounted within said body, permanent magnets secured in said yoke so that the magnetic flux thereof intersects the windings of said solenoid coil at right angles thereto, a cover secured to said body in engagement with the other end of said core, said body, said cover member, said yoke and said core being of magnetic material to define a magnetic circuit with said permanent magnets to provide a magnetic force causing said bobbin to move relative to said core when an electric current passes through said coil, springs biasing said bobbin to a position closing said aperture and resilient stoppers against which said bobbin will bear in the closed position relative to said aperture. The resilient stoppers also act to resiliently support one end of the yoke in sealing engagement with the body intermediate said inlet and said outlet ports.
