摘要: An impact tool includes a reaction force transmitting member, a first elastic member that biases the transmitting member forward, and a second elastic member that is pushed by the transmitting member and compressively deforms when the transmitting member moves rearward by receiving a striking reaction force caused when a tool bit strikes a workpiece, thereby cushioning the force. When the tool bit is pressed against the workpiece, the transmitting member is pushed by the tool bit and compresses the first elastic member, and comes in contact with the second elastic member in an uncompressed state, so that the transmitting member is placed in a predetermined working position in the longitudinal direction. When the transmitting member receives the striking reaction force in the working position, the transmitting member moves rearward in the axial direction of the tool bit and compressively deforms the second elastic member, thereby cushioning the striking reaction force.

摘要: An impact tool includes a vibration-proofing cushioning material connecting a tool body and a handle. The tool further includes a motor-driving manual operating member disposed on the handle, an operation mode switching member disposed on the tool body, and a movable member. When the switching member is switched to first mode in which the tool bit is continuously driven, the movable member moves the manual operating member from an off position and locks it in an on position. When the switching member is switched to second mode in which the tool bit is arbitrarily driven, the movable member releases the lock of the manual operating member. A vibration-proofing elastic member is disposed in the vibration transmitting path and prevents vibration caused in the tool body from being transmitted to the handle in the state in which the manual operating member is locked in the on position by the movable member.

摘要: Representative impact tool according to the invention includes a reaction force transmitting member 161 that receives a striking reaction force caused when a tool bit 119 strikes a workpiece, a first elastic member 163 that biases the reaction force transmitting member 161 forward, and a second elastic member 171 that is pushed by the reaction force transmitting member 161 and compressively deforms, thereby cushioning the striking reaction force, when the reaction force transmitting member 161 moves rearward by receiving the striking reaction force. When a user presses the tool bit 119 against the workpiece, the reaction force transmitting member 161 is pushed by the tool bit 119 and compresses the first elastic member 163, and also comes in contact with the second elastic member 171 in an incompressible state, so that the reaction force transmitting member 161 is placed in a predetermined working position in the longitudinal direction, and when the reaction force transmitting member receives the striking reaction force in the working position, the reaction force transmitting member moves rearward in the axial direction of the tool bit and compressively deforms the second elastic member 171, thereby cushioning the striking reaction force.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a power tool having a rational structure. A representative power tool is provided to have a tool bit a power tool body, a motion converting mechanism housing chamber, a motion converting mechanism and a clutch mechanism. The power tool further includes a switching member, an opening, a rotating member, a switching operation transmitting mechanism and an actuating member. The switching member is disposed on an upper surface of the power tool body and can be manually operated by a user. The opening is provided to connect the motion converting mechanism housing chamber and the outside. The rotating member can rotate while closing the opening. The switching operation transmitting mechanism is disposed outside the motion converting mechanism housing chamber to connect the switching member to the rotating member and to transmit the switching operation effected by the user's manual operation of the switching member to the rotating member. The rotating member includes the actuating member that extends into the motion converting mechanism housing chamber to switch the clutch mechanism between the power transmission state and the power transmission interrupted state.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide an effective technique to improve ease of operation of the power impact tool. The power tool of the present invention includes a tool body, a tool bit, a motor, first and second switches and a mode changing mechanism. The motor is driven only when both switches are in an on position. The first switch is biased in the off position. The second switch is biased in the last position operated. The mode changing mechanism switches between hammer operation modes such that in the first hammer mode, the user actuates the first switch while the second switch is locked in the on position and in the second hammer mode, the first switch is locked in the on position while the second switch is actuated. In the second hammer mode, actuating the second switch similar to a toggle switch operates the tool.

摘要: Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide an effective technique to improve ease of operation of the power impact tool. The representative power impact tool according to the present invention includes a tool body, a tool bit, a motor, first and second switches and a mode changing mechanism. The tool bit performs a striking movement. The motor is driven only when both of the switches are turned on. The first switch is urged from the on position side to the off position side and normally held in the off position. The second switch is turned between the on position and the off position and held in one of the on and off positions unless operated to be turned to the opposite position. The mode changing mechanism switches between hammer operation modes of the tool bit. According to the first hammer mode, the user is allowed to actuate the first switch while the second switch is locked in the on position. Further, according to the second hammer mode, the first switch is locked in the on position while the user is allowed to actuate the second switch. According to the invention, when the power impact tool is operated in the second hammer mode, the first switch is locked in the on-position while the user is allowed to actuate the second switch such like a toggle switch to drive the motor. Therefore, the user is not required to keep the first switch in the on-position by hand in the second hammer mode. As a result, ease of operation of the power impact tool is enhanced compared with the known art.
