摘要： Blast resistant and blast directing container assemblies for receiving explosive articles and preventing or minimizing damage in the event of an explosion. The container assembly comprises a container of blast resistant material and a blast mitigating material located within the container. The container is collapsible for storage when empty. 摘要： Blast resistant and blast directing container assemblies for receiving explosive articles and preventing or minimizing damage in the event of an explosion. The container assembly includes an opening covered by a band of blast resistant material with at least one slit therethrough in the hoop direction of the band, and optionally, a blast mitigating material located within the container. The container can be collapsible for storage when empty. The container assemblies have utility in aircraft where weight is an important consideration, more particularly as cargo holders or containment devices in the passenger cabin. They are also particularly useful to bomb squad personnel as transport devices for hazardous materials such as gunpowder, high explosives and combinations of high explosives with shrapnel, e.g., grenades and pipe bombs.

摘要： Barrier units and articles made therefrom, particularly constraining bands of high strength and low weight for containing articles, especially in blast resistant container assemblies, are disclosed. The barrier unit comprises a surface having a regular polygonal perimeter with a plurality of substantially parallel sides, each of which terminates in at least one loop integral with the surface. The surface comprises at least one network of high strength fiber with at least about 50 weight percent of the fiber comprising substantially continuous lengths of fiber aligned in the hoop direction of the loops. The barrier units have utility as constraining bands for loads of articles like logs, and as doors/closures for access openings to the interior of aircraft blast resistant cargo containers. They are also useful as fences and window protectors.

摘要： Substituted pyrrolidin-2-ones of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a phenyl or naphthyl radical that is unsubstituted or substituted by lower alkyl, lower alkloxy, halogen and/or trifluoromethyl, X.sub.1 represents lower alkylidene, X.sub.2 represents methylene, ethylene or oxoethylene and R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or a radical of the formula ##STR2## wherein X.sub.4 represents lower alkylidene and R.sub.3 represents hydrogen or a phenyl or a phenyl naphthyl radical that is unsubstituted by lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen and/or trifluoromethyl, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, have nootropic properties and can be used as nootropic active ingredients in medicaments.
