摘要： A foaming cosmetic product is provided packaged in a non-aerosol mechanical dispenser. The dispenser includes a container for holding a liquid composition, a dispensing head with a housing enclosing a pump mechanism and a screen material in the flow path to convert liquid composition into a foam, and a diptube for delivering liquid from the container to the dispensing head. The cosmetic composition is an opaque creamy, relatively non-viscous fluid, the creamy appearance imparted by a latex with suspended polymer particles compatible with the foaming mechanism.

High levels of sunscreen activity are achievable without any significant adverse effect on emulsion aesthetics.

摘要： A cosmetic composition and method is herein described for sunless tanning to impart a glow/shiny effect on skin. The composition includes a sunless tanning agent and coated beads incorporating tan colored pigment. A colorant which imparts a color other than tan to the beads is distributed within the coating. The cosmetic composition provides to the skin an immediate tan via the disintegrated beads. Sunless tanning agent acts more slowly and eventually will replace the pigment effect. The coating with colorant prevents the formula undesirably from appearing tan. Instead a color such as white renders the formula more aesthetically pleasing and more in line with the visuals paradigm of a moisturizer rather than a foundation.

摘要： A personal care product is provided which includes a composition a quaternary ammonium salt wherein a cation of the salt is a dihydroxypropyltri(C1–C3 alkyl)ammonium monosubstituted polyol in a carrier. The cation should have a molecular weight no higher than about 450 and the salt have a Tg no higher than about 10° C. Particularly preferred are hydroxypropyltrimonium sorbitol salts. These salts operate as humectants to moisturize both in high and low relative humidity environments.
