    摘要: A system (30) for outputting digital data stored in a memory of a computer (12) in accordance with the invention includes a graphics display processor (20), coupled to the memory, for processing the digital data stored in the memory to produce at least one serial data stream including clock information, which is a function of a clock signal representative of a rate at which the at least one display formatted serial data stream is outputted, and display information for use in controlling a video monitor; a video channel (24), coupled to the display processor, for outputting the at least one serial data stream produced by the graphics display processor; a data processing memory (52); and a data processing system (40, 44 and 50) for processing the at least one serial data stream in response to the clock information and for removing at least the display information and controlling storing of the at least one of the at least one serial data stream with the display information removed which contains the digital data read from the memory of the computer system.

    摘要: Nozzle block vanes having damaged trailing edge sections are repaired by removing the damaged section and replacing it by a new forged replacement trailing end section. The replacement section is coated with an erosion resistant coating leaving an uncoated border on three sides, preferably beveled. The coated section is welded to the vane and walls of the nozzle block and the weld portion ground to give a uniform contour between the vane and replacement section. The block is heat treated or the heat affected zone heat treated to provide a repaired vane.

    摘要: A dynamic random access memory (DRAM) single in-line memory module (SIMM) having optimized physical dimensions achieves high speed and high storage capacity. The DRAM SIMM has a printed circuit board with a multi-contact connector, a plurality of DRAM sets, each set having a plurality of DRAM chips mounted on the printed circuit board, and a plurality of buffers which are also mounted on the printed circuit board. The number of buffers is equal to the number of DRAM sets. Various standard DRAM chips can be used on the SIMM to achieve different performance and storage capacity, while maintaining plug compatibility of the multi-contact connector with a memory board. The buffers buffer the control and address signals for the DRAM chips, which is necessary to keep control and address signal integrity due to the number of DRAMS. The buffers permit each DRAM to receive the necessary control and address signals in a more synchronized fashion, so that relative delays are well controlled. The multi-contact connector has a first group of pins for receiving control and address signals, a second group of pins for data input/output signals, a third group of pins for indicating the type code of the SIMM, and a fourth group of pins for power and ground connections.
