    摘要: A mobile device test framework is used in combination with client controllers and device controllers so that a single mobile device API test can be used with mobile devices having different operating system platforms. The client controllers can provide information specific to the client and the device controllers can provide information needed to apply the test to each of the mobile device platforms. The test framework can navigate through the controls of the mobile device GUIs and input information. The test framework can then check that the text and images displayed by the mobile devices match the expected information.

    摘要: An intraocular lens providing pseudo-accommodation includes a haptic assembly configured to position the accommodating intraocular lens; and a meniscus-shaped optic having a convex face and a concave face. The meniscus-shaped optic has an uncompressed state within an eye when the ciliary muscles are relaxed and a compressed state within the eye when the ciliary muscles are contracted. A principal plane of the meniscus-shaped optic in the uncompressed state is anterior to the principal plane of the meniscus-shaped optic in the compressed state. A spherical aberration of the meniscus-shaped optic is substantially different in the compressed state than in the uncompressed state.

    摘要: An improved multifocal design for IOL is provided. A particular embodiment includes an intraocular lens (IOL) with a foldable optic. The IOL also includes multi-hinged haptics coupled to the foldable optic operable to position the IOL within an eye. Each of the multi-hinged haptics includes a first hinge and a second hinge farther from the foldable optic. The first hinge has a first thickness between an anterior side and a posterior side of the multi-hinged haptic, the second hinge has a second thickness between the anterior side and the posterior side of the multi-hinged haptic, and the first thickness is greater than the second thickness. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a method to correct the visual impairment of an aphakic patient by implanting such an IOL.

The first gib key assembly is connected to a first end surface of the inner shell to form a first groove within the first gib key assembly. A projection formed on a first end of the outer shell mateably engages the first groove formed within the first gib key assembly to align the inner shell with the outer shell along the transverse centerline.

    摘要: A nozzle box includes a torus, bridge ring and nozzle ring portions wherein steam flowing generally circumferentially in the torus portion is redirected for flow generally axially by the bridge ring portion. The steam exiting the bridge ring portion flows into nozzles formed by adjacent partitions of the nozzle ring portion. Bridges in the bridge ring portion are tangentially leaned to exactly match the angle of inclination of the leading edges of the axially adjacent partitions at like circumferential locations. For strength purposes, there are two bridges for each partition. Every other bridge axially registers with the leading edge of the axially downstream partition matching its angle while remaining bridges are equally spaced between the aligned bridges. In this manner, the steam flow is straightened by the bridges to match the angle of the leading edge of the nozzle partitions with consequent reduction of passage area loss.
