摘要： An improved disposable filter bag for use with a pool cleaner of the type disclosed, for example, in U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,863,425; 4,558,479; and 3,822,754. The filter bag is formed from a porous filter material having marginal seams formed by direct welding to form a reinforced cuff defining an open bag mouth leading to a hollow bag interior. The cuff is configured for removable mounting on a pool cleaner suction mast, as by removable connection to a mounting collar as disclosed in U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,863,425; D409,341; and D468,067. A divider seam defined by a spaced-apart array of welds subdivides the bag interior into a primary flow chamber for receiving flow of water and water-entrained debris from the pool cleaner, and a secondary collection chamber for trapping and collecting the water-entrained debris.

摘要： An improved hose clasp for supporting a filter bag in a generally upright orientation on a pool cleaner as disclosed, for example, in U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,863,425; 4,558,479; and 3,822,754. The hose clasp includes a generally cylindrical split collar having separable free ends including a pair of radially outwardly extending clasp arms. The clasp arms are springably separable to permit placement of the split collar onto a supply hose or the like coupled to the pool cleaner. The clasp arms are notched to accommodate movement to an interlocked cross-over position, with a boss on one of the clasp arms protruding through a lock port in the other clasp arm. A leash member such as a ported tab carried by the filter bag is fitted over the boss in a position interposed between the interlocked clasp arms to support the filter bag relative to the supply hose.

摘要： A package having two halves that are connected by a hinge. The hinge allows the halves to be folded against each other about a device and held in this position by snap/indentation pairs. A folded tab on one half rests against a detent on the other half. Pushing down on the folded tab causes the tab to straighten out and thereby push against the detent, eventually overcoming the frictional force of the snap/indentation pair closest to the tab and pushing the halves apart an amount sufficient to remove the device.

摘要： An improved filter bag is provided for use with a pool cleaner particularly of the type designed for travel over submerged pool surfaces to dislodge and collect debris. The filter bag is generally constructed according to U.S. Patent 4,618,420, to include a primary flow chamber for receiving a flow of water and water-entrained debris from the pool cleaner, and a secondary collection chamber for trapping and collecting the water-entrained debris. A zipper closure on the filter bag can be opened for disposal of debris captured within the collection chamber, followed by re-closure and re-use of the filter bag for a subsequent debris collection cycle.

摘要： An orthosis is provided which is mountable on a knee having a femoral head and patella. The orthosis has upper and lower arms positionable about the knee and a hinge assembly positioned between the upper and lower arms at the knee to one side of the patella. A compression member is positioned at the femoral head adjacent to the patella on the opposite side of the patella from the hinge assembly. The compression member includes a tracking guide engaging the knee and a compression place in overlying engagement with the tracking guide. A tension strap is connected to the hinge assembly at an offset connection point by means of a tension strap mount. The tension strap applies a tension force to the compression member which increases when the upper and lower arms rotatably transition from the flexion position to the extension position and decreases when the upper and lower arms rotatably transition from the extension position to the flexion position.
