Abstract:
A drilling bucket adapted to combine with a prime mover vehicle such as an excavator. The drilling bucket includes a floor pivotally combined with the bucket. The floor has an open position wherein collected spoils are emptied from the bucket and a closed position for retaining spoils in the bucket during operation. A release assembly is adapted to securely hold the floor in its closed position until it is actuated to release it to its open position. Some embodiments of the drilling bucket comprise two separate internal cavities. The first cavity is adapted to receive the spoils as the bucket is rotated beneath the ground by the prime mover vehicle. The second cavity is adapted to house portions of the release assembly. The second cavity may serve as a vent which allows air to pass the bucket as the bucket is being raised or lowered in a hole.
Abstract:
An unlockable non-return valve reduces the tendency of the poppet piston to jam by providing a first insert that has a guide diameter for the poppet piston over just a short section of its end side facing the piston collar, and wherein a supporting ring is arranged axially between the high-pressure seal and the first insert in a receiving element, the diameter of which is substantially smaller than the outside diameters of the inserts, the supporting ring likewise being produced from a metallic material having good sliding properties and being produced with a narrow clearance from the end section of the poppet piston and with a large radial clearance from the receiving element.

Abstract:
For the production and exact control and regulation of very high pressures, in particular for actuating a press, two pressure intensifiers are provided which each have a differential piston. The second pressure intensifier is connected via a shutoff valve to the first pressure intensifier and to the load or consumer. Both pressure intensifiers have a small volume compared with the volume required by the consumer. By activating the second pressure intensifier fluid can be exchanged between the consumer and the first pressure intensifier to replenish the first pressure intensifer in a pressure buildup phase and to empty the first pressure intensifier in a pressure relief phase.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a control system for hydraulic power units, in particular hydraulic cylinder-piston-assemblies comprising a valve to be controlled by an electronic controller, the valve controlling the fluid path between the power unit, a pressure source and a reservoir. A pressure sensor and a circuit for differentiating the sensed pressure quantity in response to time is provided for sensing a respective output variable of the power unit. The pressure variation signal is utilized to assist operating the valve to improve the control operation, i.e. to dampen fluid vibrations or to decrease the hammering noise produced in the operation of stamping, nibbling or shearing machines.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive for a press, in particular for a sheet metal forming press, the press including a press ram which can be moved up and down and a hydraulic movable counter support. The counter support can be moved in a forward stroke in the direction towards the press ram via at least one hydraulic cylinder by a first hydrostatic machine, and in a return stroke by the press ram. In known presses, during the return stroke of the counter support, the pressure medium is displaced from the hydraulic cylinder while a predetermined pressure is maintained by means of a pressure relief valve (pressure limiting valve) or a throttle valve (flow control valve). The balance sheet of energy of such a drive of such a press is to be improved. This is achieved by providing that the first hydrostatic machine is a pressure controlled machine, preferably an axial piston machine. Preferably, the axial piston machine can be swiveled in both directions, i.e. pivoted towards both sides. Further, at least during a portion of the return stroke of the counter support, pressure medium from the hydraulic cylinder flows across a second hydrostatic machine.
