    摘要: A jar is disclosed comprising: an outer housing; an inner mandrel at least partially disposed telescopically within the outer housing to define a fluid chamber between the inner mandrel and the outer housing, the fluid chamber containing fluid and being sealed; a valve disposed within the fluid chamber, the valve having a restriction surface facing, during setting, a cooperating restriction surface on one of the inner mandrel and the outer housing and a pressure surface facing the other of the inner mandrel and the outer housing, the valve being movable between a seated position in which the valve seats against the other of the inner mandrel and the outer housing and an unseated position; the cooperating restriction surface cooperating with the restriction surface to set the jar for a jar in a first direction; the pressure surface being exposed to fluid within the fluid chamber when the jar is set and pressuring up for a jar in the first direction; the pressure surface being indented to cause uneven radial movement, in a plane perpendicular to a jar axis, of the restriction surface towards the cooperating restriction surface when the jar is set and pressuring up for a jar in the first direction; and jarring surfaces on the inner mandrel and the outer housing respectively for jarring contact with each other during a jar in the first direction.

The equalizer may comprise an equalization piston, and the double-acting compounder may comprise a restrictor for restricting initial movement of the movable seal assembly from both the inner shoulder and the outer shoulder due to hydrostatic pressure when the double-acting compounder is in a neutral position. The restrictor keeps the movable seal assembly from moving first and allows the equalizer piston to move and establish hydrostatic pressure in the fluid chamber. Thus, the movable seal assembly is kept in a neutral position and full stroke up and down is preserved, making the tool more efficient relative to a compounder without such an equalizer.

A method of operating a running tool assembly for deploying downhole equipment from the surface, comprising assembling a liner hanger, top sub, lock piston, lock pins, shear screws and seals into a running tool assembly, attaching the assembly to a tubing string, inserting the assembly into a hole to a desired depth, and either: a) dropping an activation ball internal to the bore of the assembly; pumping hydraulic fluid into the annular bore of the assembly; allowing build up of pressure thereby overcoming the plurality of shear screws; releasing the liner hanger from the top sub; and retrieving the top sub assembly partition from the liner hanger out of the hole; or b) manipulation of the tubing string by means of left-hand rotation; release of the liner hanger from the top sub thereby overcoming the plurality of shear screws; and retrieving the top sub assembly partition from the liner hanger out of the hole.
