摘要： A multiple paper sheet feed apparatus, suitable for use with a printer, comprises a plurality of sheet feed mechanisms each of which comprises a sheet feed roller and a clutch spring which selectively assumes either a first operation state for rotatively coupling the roller to the shaft, or a second operational state for releasing the rotative coupling. During rotation of a single sheet feed shaft common to all the feed mechanisms, solenoids corresponding to the respective clutches are selectively energized so that one or more corresponding armatures are disengaged from one or more associated clutch springs so as to cause the associated springs to assume their respective first states. As a result, one or more or all of the sheet feed mechanisms are rendered operative so that a selected one or more or all of the sheets are fed therethrough.

摘要： A printer, having a cylindrical platen rotatable for delivery of a printing sheet, which comprises a roller support shaft disposed in parallel with the platen and rotatably supported by a cover which is capable of being open and closed, and at least one feed roller mounted on the shaft. In the state the cover is closed, the cut form sheet is settable, without the need of displacing the feed roller, by frictionally holding the sheet at the side downstream of the printing section between the feed roller and urging portions formed on a printer main unit at a location close to the platen to delivery the sheet, with utilization of resiliency of the sheet, thereby permitting printing onto the sheet up to trailing or lower end thereof. In case of using the continuous sheet, a tractor unit is mounted on the printer. Upon mounting this unit, the feed roller is displaced away from its location for feeding the cut form sheet, so as not to prevent delivery of the continuous sheet to be fed from the platen to the tractor unit.

摘要： An apparatus for producing a reset pulse for performing the printing operation of an impact printer. A cam is secured to a shaft of a type drum. The cam has a rising portion, lowering portion, and escape portion. A cam follower is mounted on a lever to engage with the cam. The cam follower has a large diameter portion and a small diameter portion, and a reset switch is provided to be operated by the lever to produce a reset pulse when the lever is rocked by the engagement of the cam follower with the lowering portion of the cam.

摘要： A cutter apparatus having a fixed blade in an opening of a paper feeding guide; and a movable blade having a cutting portion which enters into the opening. A paper holding plate is provided on the movable blade slidably in the cutting direction. The distal end of the paper holding plate is kept projected by a sliding mechanism in the cutting direction from the distal end of the cutting portion of the movable blade. With the paper holding plate firmly holding the paper against the feeding guide, the sliding mechanism further moves the movable blade into the opening. On carrying out the cutting operation, firstly the paper holding plate slidingly reaches the recording paper and tightly keeps the paper stationary. Thereafter the cutting portion of the movable blade moves forward enters into the opening to cut the paper. The result is that the recording paper does not escape when undergoing the cutting operation, the cutting quality can be kept excellent to a certain extent irrespective e.g. of the condition of the movable blade.
