    摘要: A video signal coding apparatus includes a coding unit which codes and re-codes a video signal and includes: a coding processing unit which codes, slice-by-slice, a current picture indicated by the video signal, to generate coded data; an integration unit which calculates a code-integrated value indicating a code amount of the coded data; a coding result determination unit which determines that re-coding of the current picture is necessary when determining that the code-integrated value is grater than a threshold; and a re-coding control unit which specifies a slice to be re-coded, based on coding information indicating a feature of the coded data, when it is determined that the re-coding is necessary, and the coding processing unit further re-codes the slice specified by the re-coding control unit.

    摘要: A communication processor sets a storage request signal to be effective when it is judged that a packet cannot be transmitted and sets the storage request signal to be ineffective when it is judged that the packet can be transmitted. A data processor makes a buffer memory store encoded data therein when it is confirmed that the storage request signal is effective. The data processor reads the encoded data from the buffer memory and transmits the read encoded data to a packet generator when it is confirmed that the storage request signal is ineffective and the encoded data is stored in the buffer memory. The data processor receives the encoded data from the encoder and transmits the received encoded data to the packet generator when it is confirmed that the storage request signal is ineffective and the encoded data is not stored in the buffer memory.

    摘要: A transmitter transmits moving image data generated by an image generator to a communication line. A controller judges whether or not the moving image data can be transmitted based on communication status in the communication line. An image analyzer analyzes the moving image data and calculates an information volume thereof when it is judged by the controller that the transmission of the moving image data is not possible, and a storage memory stores the moving image data therein. A transmit image selector selects the moving image data to be read for transmission from all of the moving image data stored in the storage memory based on the information volume when a result of the judgment by the controller shows that non-transmittable status is changed to transmittable status and transmits the selected moving image data to the transmitter.
