An electronic apparatus includes key operation means, control means, detection means, storage means and memory means. The detection means detects motion of the electronic apparatus. The storage means stores motion identification data obtained from detection data on a motion after a predetermined key operation in the key operation means after predetermined guidance information is outputted or data obtained by computing the detection data, in the memory means. The control means executes the specific process according to the comparison results between detection data obtained by detecting a motion of the electronic apparatus after the motion identification data is stored or data obtained by computing the detection data, and the motion identification data.

A mobile communication terminal is provided that is capable of shooting a code image, restoring data from the code image, and using the shot code image and the restored data, in response to a request from an application program. A mobile communication terminal (mobile phone) 20 includes an image shooting unit 217 for shooting an image; a data memory unit 219 for memorizing data of a code image shot by the image shooting unit 217; a main control unit 215 for controlling the image shooting unit 217 and the data memory unit 219; and an application program executing and managing unit 214 for executing an application program registered by a user. The main control unit 215 controls the image shooting unit 217 and the data memory unit 219 based on a control request instruction sent from the application program executing and managing unit 214 that is executing the application program.

The application (33) requests a basic processing part (31) to execute character input processing, depending on the character input request from the user during display of a graphics window managed by an application (33). The execution environment part (32), which received the character input processing request, notifies the basic processing part (31) of the character input processing request, and turns in a display blocked state. After that, characters are input under the control of the basic processing part (31). When character input is terminated, the basic processing part (31) closes the display of the character input screen to notify the execution environment part (32) of the termination of the character input and the character input result. The execution environment part (32), which received the notice, releases the display blocked state and notifies the application (33) of the termination of the character input and the character input result data.

A mobile communication terminal is provided whose operability is improved by enabling a user to promptly use a function that the user requires, upon suspension of execution of an application program. A mobile communication terminal (mobile phone) 20 includes an output unit 216 having a liquid crystal display (LCD) 27 that displays an image; a main control unit 215 that controls the output unit 216; and an application program executing and managing unit 214 that executes an application program registered by a user. The application program executing and managing unit 214 sends a function transition request instruction (screen transition request instruction) to make a transition to a function specified by the application program, to the main control unit 215, upon suspension of execution of the application program. Based on the function transition request instruction (screen transition request instruction), the main control unit 215 controls the output unit 216 to display an initial screen of the function or a menu screen for selecting the function.

In order to display the image included in the original one on a display part together with outputting the object, a key in a keypad on an operation part by a user. Thereby, the key operated by the user is specified in both of the mask image creation part 32 and data notification part 35. Subsequently, it is judged whether there is the object inherently assigned to the specified key or not. When the judge result is affirmative, the object that corresponds to the operation of the key is output together with displaying the image included in the original one. As a result, a changing of output object when an image included in an original one is displayed together with outputting an object is able to perform simply for the user.

Analyzing copyright information written in a predetermined position of an optically read two-dimensional code symbol (step S41). After that, performing analysis in accordance with the data type, e.g., URL non-display data (UND), text data (TXD), binary data (BND), sound data (MSD), or image data (IMD), of content data in the two-dimensional code symbol (steps S42 to S54). Finally, displaying the result of analysis together with the copyright information on a display unit to provide an operator with the contents of information written in a predetermined position of a two-dimensional code. This makes it possible to appropriately process the information expressed by the two-dimensional code.

When an application activation instruction is input, it is decided whether the application is expected to access a high-level protection resource or low-level protection resource (step S31). If the decision is affirmative, display is done to prompt the user to select whether to permit activation of the application (step S32). When the user inputs an activation permission instruction, the application is activated (steps S33 to S36). As a result, only when the user permits an application, which is expected to access a high-level protection resource or low-level protection resource, to access a predetermined resource immediately before its execution, the application is executed. Hence, the basic processing part and application can operate in cooperation with each other while limiting access to various kinds of resources by the application in a reasonable range.

A noted image information extraction section 31 specifies a region of a noted image in an original image, and noted image information containing information relating to position and size of the noted image WMM region within the original image is extracted. Continuing on, mask image formation means 31 forms a mask image by displaying superimposed on the original image, based on noted image information and mask image information registered in a mask image information file. As a result, a mask image comprised of element images selected using element image selection information contained in mask image information is formed at a specified position and specified size in the noted image region of the original image. A composite image having the mask image superimposed on the original image is then formed by composite image formation means 33. As a result, an image that a user has rendered in an original image is simply and appropriately formed, regardless of whether it is a still image or a moving picture.
