摘要： According to the present invention, there is provided a continuous medium printing apparatus including a printing section, a determining section, instructing unit, wherein the determining section is controlled in its reading operation for acquiring printed image data from continuous paper in accordance with first instructing signal supplied from the instructing unit, and the printing section is controlled in its printing operation on the continuous paper in accordance with a second instructing signal supplied from the instructing unit. According to the above arrangement, even if a plurality of printers are connected in an on-line fashion and each of the printers is carrying out printing operation with the continuous paper, each printer can be independently settled in the paper size of the continuous paper, the partitioning position of each page, the length and width of the continuous paper, the size of data to be printed, the location of printing of the data to be printed, the resolution thereof while comparing the data to be printed with the printed image data in terms of image matching. Moreover, each printer can be independently controlled in printing and conveying operations and reading and conveying operations so that printing and comparing can be accurately carried out.

摘要： Conveyance apparatus for a continuous form having sprocket holes on both sides thereof provided in a high-speed printing system, comprised of a printing machine and an after-treatment machine, including: a constant-speed conveyance roller for feeding the continuous form to the printer; a pair of ejection rollers located downstream of the constant-speed conveyance roller for conveying and ejecting the continuous form, under tension, by rotating a little faster than the constant-speed conveyance roller; a pair of drawing rollers provided at the entrance to the after-treatment machine for pulling the continuous form therein injected by the printing machine; an end sensor for outputting an end signal when a disengagement between the last sprocket hole and the constant-speed conveyance roller is detected; and a controller. The controller in the first aspect changes the peripheral speed of the ejection rollers to lower than that of the constant-speed conveyance roller when the end signal is received from the end sensor. The controller in the second aspect stops supplying the power to a driver of the ejection rollers, a predetermined time after the end signal is received from the end sensor. The controller in the third aspect changes the peripheral speed of the drawing rollers to faster than that of the ejection rollers to provide tension to the continuous form when the end signal is received from the end sensor. As a result, the continuous form is treated smoothly in the after-treatment machine even at the end thereof.

摘要： An optical write head operable in high speeds is provided with better printing results. The optical write head is arranged by an LED array constructed of a plurality of LEDs arrayed in a line form, one shift register used to store thereinto pixel data for a front half portion of this LED array, and the other shift register used to store thereinto pixel data for a rear half portion of this LED array. The optical write head is further arranged by registers for latching parallel pixel data outputted from these shift registers, and a driving circuit for simultaneously driving the LEDs employed in the LED array in response to patterns of the pixel data outputted from the registers when a control signal is inputted.
