摘要： An information feeder network provides data to a data processing arrangement coupled to a service element via a network. A content-defined information feed of the service element is selected. The information feed is sent from the service element to the data processing arrangement. An application of the data processing arrangement is selected for receiving the information feed based on a predetermined association between a content-type of the information feed and a content-type of the application. The information feed is sent to the application for utilization by the application.

摘要： The invention provides a method and apparatus for providing content in a network having a network proxy arranged between a mobile terminal and a content provider. The method features a step of adapting or transforming the content in the network proxy based on one or more digital rights issued by the owner of the content. The network proxy includes an adaption policy module that receives the digital rights and provides an adaption policy; and an adaption engine module that receives the adaption policy and the content from the content provider, and provides adapted content to the terminal. In operation, the network proxy uses the digital rights to determine an optimal adaptation policy and then uses that to transform the content.

摘要： Content search involves receiving a user-formulated search query via a user device. The search query is submitted to two or more search domains. The search domains represent separate data repositories accessible via the user device. Results objects are received from the two or more search domains in response to the search query. The results objects are ranked using different ranking criterion by the respective search domains from which the search results were received. A rank value for each of the results objects is determined based on a single ranking criterion. The results objects are ordered based at least in part on the rank values determined using the single ranking criterion and sent for display in a user interface of the user device.
