    Abstract: A network-based inventory replenishment application maintains and analyzes item transactions on a per-consumer basis. Specific item purchases are calculated as being in need of replenishment by a specific consumer on specific future dates or a specific range of future dates. The consumer is proactively informed and asked if such items should be ordered. The network-based inventory replenishment application engages the consumer for item replenishment and item order processing over a plurality of disparate communication channels.

    Abstract: A base self-service terminal (SST) system comprises a host device and a first set of peripherals. The base SST system can operate in standalone mode to process self-service transactions when the base SST system is placed on a horizontal surface or mounted to a pedestal. The base SST system processes the self-service transactions utilizing the first set of peripherals and a second set of peripherals when the base SST system is docked within an integrated peripheral device or a peripheral bridge appliance. The integrated peripheral device comprises the second set of peripherals or the second set of peripherals are made available through the peripheral bridge appliance. One or more additional peripherals are attachable and removable from the base SST system and one or more accessory modules are attachable and removable from the base SST system, the integrated peripheral device, and/or the peripheral bridge appliance.

    Abstract: A secure transaction terminal gateway device is provided. The gateway device includes a single motherboard. The motherboard includes an application processing environment and a security processing environment. Peripheral connections and communications are directly processed and authenticated directly on the security processing environment and indirectly communicated from the secure processing environment to the application processing environment. Communication between the application processing environment and security processing environment is made via an on-motherboard wired secure connection between an application environment port and a security environment port. In an embodiment, the single motherboard is an automated teller machine (ATM) motherboard.

    Abstract: Multiple portions of information for a product are hashed to produce unique hash values during a journey of the product from production to purchase by a consumer. The hash values and information are stored in a cryptographic cooperatively shared product data structure. The hash values are subsequently submitted as product or portions of product searches to the cryptographic cooperatively shared product data structures and results are obtained for products associated with the portions of the information.     Abstract: An indoor location is mapped into a grid comprising grid cells, each cell associated with items or objects detected as being present in the corresponding cell. The grid, grid cells, and linked items and/or objects are generated and updated using an Augmented Reality (AR) algorithm that maps a physical environment into cells and measures distances and directions within the environment relative to each cell. Walking paths (routes) to the items within the indoor location are generated using the grid information. As a user walks a path, the user's position within the indoor location is mapped and tracked to the cells and the path revised based on the user's actual position. A user device provides video via an AR application to track the user's position; a rendering of the position and path are superimposed within the video being viewed by the user on the user-operated device.

    Abstract: A pusher plate stacking bin apparatus is provided for a valuable media depository. The apparatus comprising a pusher plate driven by a rack and pinion apparatus to stack a media item that is in a final position within the apparatus onto a media stacking platform. The media item is urged into the final position such that a trailing edge of the media item overhangs and rests on a fixed media guide and such that a leading edge of the media item overhangs and rests on a hinged media guide with a bottom surface of the media item elevated above the media stacking platform. The rack and pinion apparatus drives the plate past the media guides causing the hinged media guide to drop and the media item to fold along the leading edge as the media item is stacked onto the platform.

    Abstract: Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, and software for biometric authentication of pre-staged self-service terminal transactions. One embodiment in the form of a method includes connecting, wirelessly via a wireless communication device of a mobile device, to a Self-Service Terminal (SST), such as an ATM or self-service checkout terminal. The mobile device then receives, via the wireless communication device from the SST, biometric authentication data to authenticate an account holder. The received biometric data is then compared on the mobile device with biometric data stored on or read by a biometric reader of the mobile device. When the comparing identifies a match between the received biometric data and the biometric data read by or stored on the mobile device, the method then transmits an authentication message via the wireless communication device to the SST indicating the match.
