摘要: Model teeth 20 for a dental model includes a model teeth base 10 provided with a plurality of insertion holes 13 having an inner surface provided with an insertion hole-side step portion 13b such that a deep side of the holes 13 is narrower than an opening side, and a plurality of the teeth 20 having a tooth crown portion 21 exposed from the holes 13 and a tooth root portion 22 inserted inside the holes 13, when the model teeth are detachably inserted into the holes 13, respectively. The teeth 20 include a model teeth-side step portion 26 provided on an outer surface of the portion 22 and cause the teeth 20 to move in a direction such that a distance between adjacent teeth 20 is shortened, as the teeth 20 abut the portion 13b when inserted into the holes 13 and the teeth 20 are inserted deep into the holes 13.

摘要: An orthodontic practice appliance (1) in the present invention includes an orthodontic tooth row (23) for orthodontic practice, an orthodontic gingival part (22) that holds the orthodontic tooth row (23) and is softened by the application of heat, and a metal member (24) that is placed inside the orthodontic gingival part (22) and has an exposure portion exposed to the outside. According to the present invention, when the orthodontic practice appliance (1) is immersed in hot water, the exposed metal member (24) is heated. The metal member (24) extends inside the orthodontic gingival part (22). Therefore, the orthodontic gingival part (22) is heated not only from the surface thereof in direct contact with the hot water but also from inside thereof by heat transmitted through the heated metal plate (24). Accordingly, heat is transmitted to the orthodontic gingival part (22) uniformly.

摘要: Apparatus for dental simulation comprising: a display; one or more processors; a hand piece comprising a light emitter and an inertial measurement unit (IMU), wherein the IMU is in communication with at least one of the one or more processors, and wherein the IMU is configured to generate IMU position and orientation data, wherein the IMU position and orientation data describes the position and orientation of the hand piece; at least two cameras in communication with at least one of the one or more processors, wherein each of the at least two cameras is configured to generate a series of images using light emitted by the light emitter; wherein the one or more processors are configured to: receive the series of images from each of the at least two cameras, generate, based on two dimensional coordinate data derived from the series of images, three dimensional coordinate data identifying the position of the LED; receive the IMU position and orientation data; and further wherein the one or more processors are configured to combine the IMU position and orientation data and the three dimensional coordinate data to generate simulation instructions, and to display, on the display, a three dimension virtual image of an object and animate movement of the object according to the simulation instructions.
